About This Event

In the upcoming La Liga game between Elche CF and Real Betis Balompié, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Elche CF" if Elche CF score more goals than Real Betis Balompié in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Draw" if Elche CF and Real Betis Balompié score the same number of goals in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Real Betis Balompié" if Real Betis Balompié score more goals than Elche CF in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Draw". This market refers only to the outcome within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

What the contract measures

The saved Polymarket event covers the second half of the Elche CF vs. Real Betis Balompié match. The rules describe the game as scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET [1]. Each contract counts only second-half goals in regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded [1].

The three markets use slightly different wording. Two ask whether Elche CF or Real Betis Balompié will "win the second half?", and the third asks whether the second half will be a draw [1]. The rules state that a draw resolves when both teams score the same number of second-half goals. A game canceled entirely with no make-up game resolves to "Draw," while a postponed game keeps the market open until it is completed [1]. All three markets list the same end time, 2026-11-08T13:00:00.000Z [1].

Reading the snapshot

The provider observation time is 2026-10-28T00:00:06.241Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-28T02:27:01.702Z [1]. These are past snapshots, not live prices. The saved Yes prices were 0.445 for Elche CF, 0.43 for Real Betis Balompié, and 0.32 for a second-half draw [1]. Those three Yes prices sum to more than 1, so they should not be read as a complete set of verified probabilities. They are snapshots, not executable quotes.

All three saved markets for this event are included, and the coverage record marks the sample as not partial. The sample warning still states that this does not establish that the provider lists every possible real-world outcome, so no conclusion should be drawn about omitted outcomes. Only one platform appears in this evidence, so there is no cross-platform comparison. The evidence also does not explain why prices sit at these levels.

What remains uncertain

The market has not resolved. The primary source is the official event statistics. If those are not published within 2 hours after the event concludes, Flashscore data may be used, then Sofascore data, and then a consensus of credible reporting [1]. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market resolves 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable [1]. Revisions to final scores made after resolution are not accounted for [1].

Overview

This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event tied to the La Liga match between Elche CF and Real Betis Balompié, which is scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET [1]. The event contains three separate yes or no contracts, and each one concerns only the second half of the match [1]. The first contract asks whether Elche CF will win the second half. Under its rules, the market resolves to "Elche CF" if Elche CF scores more goals than Real Betis Balompié in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time [1]. A second contract asks the same question for Real Betis Balompié, and a third asks whether the second half will end in a draw [1]. The second-half draw contract resolves to "Draw" if both teams score the same number of goals in that period [1]. The rules exclude first-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs [1]. Each contract is a distinct market, so the prices of one contract do not automatically relate to another in a way that creates an opportunity to trade between them. If the game is postponed, the market stays open until the game has been completed [1]. If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market resolves to "Draw" [1]. The rules also address data sources. The primary source is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. If those statistics are not published within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, Flashscore data may be used, then Sofascore data if Flashscore is unavailable, and then a consensus of credible reporting if neither is available [1]. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market resolves 50-50, or to "Draw" where that option applies [1]. The listed end time for all three contracts is 2026-11-08T13:00:00.000Z, and the provider reported the event status as active when it was observed [1]. Prices in these markets are snapshots taken at the observation time. They are not executable quotes and they are not verified probabilities of any outcome.

Why It Matters

Each contract measures a narrow outcome: which team scores more goals, or whether the teams score the same number, during the second half of one scheduled match [1]. Because the rules exclude the first half, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs, the contracts do not track the final result of the match as a whole [1]. The resolution rules are explicit about postponement, cancellation, the order of data sources, and the 50-50 or draw fallback when no acceptable data exists [1]. These details determine how a contract settles, so they matter as much as the match itself.

Snapshot context
