About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of rushing yards Jahmyr Gibbs records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Jahmyr Gibbs does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many rushing yards Jahmyr Gibbs recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
Each contract in this snapshot asks whether Jahmyr Gibbs will reach a rushing-yard threshold in the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The rules state that the market "will resolve to "Yes" if the number of rushing yards Jahmyr Gibbs records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number" [1]. If he does not play in the season "for any reason," the market resolves to "No" [1].
The rules also cover disruption. If the season is shortened or ends early, the outcome is determined "using available official data for completed games" [1]. If the season is cancelled, or is postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. That is a closing time for the contract, not an announced event date.
Resolution relies on "official information from the NFL," though "a consensus of credible reporting may also be used" [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-16T03:00:06.094Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-16T04:50:18.035Z [1]. These are point-in-time quotes, not current or executable prices. The five contracts are:
- 799.5+ yards: Yes 0.835, No 0.165
- 999.5+ yards: Yes 0.81, No 0.19
- 1,199.5+ yards: Yes 0.725, No 0.275
- 1,399.5+ yards: Yes 0.505, No 0.495
- 1,599.5+ yards: Yes 0.36, No 0.64
Each threshold is a separate contract. Yes prices fall as the threshold rises, which matches the rule that Yes requires reaching or exceeding the listed number. Because the thresholds differ, the prices should be read one contract at a time rather than blended into a single figure.
All five markets from this event are included, and the sample is not marked as partial [1]. The source notes, however, that this "does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome" [1]. A reader should not infer anything about thresholds that are not listed.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why any price is where it is, and it does not show how many traders hold each position. It also contains no information about Gibbs's current status, injuries, or roster role. The prices are not verified probabilities, and they are not guaranteed fills. Differences between contracts should not be treated as arbitrage without checking the full terms, timing, and execution conditions on the platform.

Overview
This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Pro Football: Jahmyr Gibbs 2026-27 Regular Season Rushing Yards." Each market in the event asks whether Jahmyr Gibbs will reach a specific rushing-yard threshold during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The contract rules state that the market resolves "Yes" if his regular-season rushing yards equal or exceed the listed number, and "No" otherwise [1]. The listed thresholds in the saved event are 799.5, 999.5, 1,199.5, 1,399.5 and 1,599.5 yards [1]. The contract is tied to a single regular season. The Wikipedia article on the 2026 NFL season describes that season as the 107th in the league's history and says the regular season began on September 9, 2026, and is scheduled to end on January 10, 2027 [3]. The contract's listed end time is January 27, 2027 at 04:59 UTC, which is later than the scheduled regular-season end date and gives time for official data to be gathered [1]. The listed end time is a provider setting, not a record that anything has been decided. The rules also cover situations where the outcome is unclear. If Gibbs does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves "No" [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated or ends early, the outcome is determined using available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many rushing yards Gibbs recorded in the relevant period, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official NFL information, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1].
Historical Context
Wikipedia states that Gibbs played college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Alabama Crimson Tide, and that the Lions selected him with the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft [2]. This background explains his professional history but does not provide information about his 2026 season performance. The Wikipedia entry for the 2026 NFL season describes the schedule for that season, including its start and scheduled end dates, but does not report how the season has played out [3].
Why It Matters
The event measures whether Jahmyr Gibbs gains at least a chosen number of rushing yards across the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Because the markets use different thresholds, each one asks a separate question about the same total. Playoff games are outside the stated measurement window, since the contract refers to the regular season [1][3]. The contract also requires an official source or consensus of credible reporting, so the rules depend on how the season's yardage is recorded and reported [1]. Prices shown on the platform reflect trading activity at the time they were observed and are not guaranteed prices for any trade.
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
