About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team earns a place in the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League through the 2026-27 LaLiga season or by winning a 2026-27 UEFA club competition. Qualifying routes that count include the team’s final 2026-27 LaLiga league position, winning a domestic cup competition that carries a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place, and earning a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by winning the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League or Europa League. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 LaLiga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution. Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
This Polymarket event asks whether a listed LaLiga team earns a place in the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League through the 2026-27 LaLiga season or by winning a 2026-27 UEFA club competition [1]. Qualifying routes include the final 2026-27 LaLiga league position, winning a domestic cup that carries a 2027-28 Champions League place, and winning the 2026-27 Champions League or Europa League [1]. A place earned by playing through UEFA qualifying rounds after the domestic season does not count [1]. The market resolves to "No" if qualification becomes mathematically impossible, or if the 2026-27 LaLiga season is cancelled or postponed past June 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET [1]. The listed end time, 2027-06-15T03:59:00.000Z, is the same moment expressed in UTC [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from UEFA and/or LaLiga, and a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-18T06:00:06.106Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-18T06:21:38.996Z [1]. These are snapshot values, not current or executable quotes. The Yes price was 0.9755 for FC Barcelona, 0.975 for Real Madrid, and 0.83 for Atlético de Madrid [1]. Real Sociedad showed 0.51 and Athletic Club showed 0.475 [1]. Several included markets, including Racing Santander, Alavés, Celta Vigo, and Elche, show 0.5 for both Yes and No [1].
The sample is partial. It includes 12 of 20 markets for this provider event [1]. Markets were ordered by finite Yes price, then volume, so the included set reflects that selection rule and is not the full field [1]. Do not treat these 12 teams as the complete list, and do not compare these prices with markets from other events or providers. Volume is not a measure of liquidity or of the number of traders, so this snapshot does not use it to judge market depth.
What remains uncertain
The supplied evidence does not explain why any price is where it is, what information traders used, or how many agree. It contains no recent news about the 2026-27 season and no current league standings. The market closes after the season ends, so these prices reflect expectations for an outcome not yet determined. Differences between teams' prices should not be read as arbitrage opportunities, because executable quotes, fees, and each contract's exact rules are not in the evidence. Nothing here indicates how the omitted markets are priced.
