About This Event

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving yards Rashid Shaheed records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Rashid Shaheed does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving yards Rashid Shaheed recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures

This event contains five separate Yes or No contracts on Rashid Shaheed's receiving yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each asks whether he will reach a stated threshold: 99.5, 299.5, 499.5, 699.5, or 899.5 yards [1]. A Yes resolution requires the yardage to equal or exceed the listed number. If he does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves No [1].

If the season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome uses available official data for completed games. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the yardage cannot be determined within that timeframe, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The resolution source is official NFL information, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1].

Reading the snapshot

The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-16T06:00:05.833Z, and the record was retrieved at 06:23:40 UTC the same day [1]. These figures are snapshots from that observation time. They are not executable quotes or verified probabilities.

The observed Yes prices were 0.895 for 299.5 or more, 0.84 for 99.5 or more, 0.51 for 499.5 or more, 0.175 for 699.5 or more, and 0.165 for 899.5 or more [1]. The 299.5 contract priced above the 99.5 contract in this snapshot. The evidence does not explain that ordering. Each contract should be read on its own terms. Its Yes and No prices are not a field of mutually exclusive outcomes, so the five prices should not be added, averaged, or compared as a single distribution.

The saved record does not include volume, trader counts, or liquidity, so no conclusions about depth or agreement can be drawn from it [1].

What remains uncertain

The sample covers one provider and one event. There is no cross-platform comparison in this evidence. The coverage record shows all five saved markets were included and the sample is not flagged as partial [1]. The sample warning, however, states that this does not establish that the provider lists every possible real-world outcome [1].

The contracts list an end time of 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. The postponement cutoff in the rules is written in ET, so readers comparing dates should convert both into one time zone. The evidence contains no current yardage, injury status, or roster information for the player, and it gives no reasons for any price movement. These prices reflect only the observation time above and may have changed since.

Overview

This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Pro Football: Rashid Shaheed 2026-27 Regular Season Receiving Yards." Each contract asks whether Rashid Shaheed will record at least a listed number of receiving yards during the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. The event contains five contracts with thresholds of 99.5, 299.5, 499.5, 699.5 and 899.5 yards. Each one resolves to "Yes" if his receiving yards equal or exceed the listed number and to "No" otherwise [1]. The rules also cover unusual outcomes. If Shaheed does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving yards he recorded in that period, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The listed end time for the event is January 27, 2027 at 04:59 UTC [1]. That is a listed end time in the contract data, not an announced date for any game or event. The resolution source is official information from the NFL, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The prices shown for each contract are snapshots taken at a single observation time. They are not executable quotes, and they are not verified probabilities of the outcome.

Historical Context

Shaheed's background, as described in the supplied Wikipedia material, is historical context rather than a current update. The source states that he signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and that midway through the 2025 season the Saints traded him to the Seattle Seahawks [2]. The same source says he won Super Bowl LX with Seattle [2]. That game was played on February 8, 2026 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and the Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29 to 13 [3]. The 2026-27 season and the contracts described here are separate from that completed 2025 season.

Why It Matters

The contracts measure one statistic for one player over one season: total receiving yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Because each threshold is a separate yes or no question, the five contracts are not a ranking of outcomes. A higher threshold asks for more yards, and a "Yes" on one contract does not determine the others. The contracts also depend on how the season is completed. A player who does not play resolves to "No," while a cancelled or undeterminable season produces a 50-50 resolution [1]. Readers should check the full rules, since these summaries omit some details.

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update.
