About This Event
This market refers to the LoL match between Caldya Esport and Lausanne-Sport Esports in the Nexus League Regular Season, initially scheduled for August 1 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Caldya Esport" if Caldya Esport win the match against Lausanne-Sport Esports. This market will resolve to "Lausanne-Sport Esports" if Lausanne-Sport Esports win the match against Caldya Esport. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

What the contract measures
The saved event is titled "LoL: Caldya Esport vs Lausanne-Sport Esports (BO1) - Nexus League Regular Season" [1]. Its single saved market is "Game 1: Any Player Quadra Kill?", with Yes and No outcomes [1]. The event excerpt, however, describes a match-winner question: it says the market "will resolve to 'Caldya Esport' if Caldya Esport win the match" [1]. The title and the rules text therefore describe different questions, and the evidence does not explain the difference. Check the full contract wording before relying on either description.
The stated resolution source is official information from the gol.gg esports home page. If final results are not published within 2 hours after the event concludes, a consensus of credible reporting may be used [1]. Canceled, tied, or delayed matches (beyond 7 days without a winner) resolve 50-50, and so do pre-start forfeits or walkovers [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed the market at 2026-10-16T06:00:05.833Z, and the data was retrieved at 2026-10-16T06:32:48.997Z [1]. These are snapshot times, not a live feed. At observation, both Yes and No were priced at 0.5 [1]. These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities.
The listed end time is 2026-08-09T03:59:00.000Z [1]. That is earlier than the retrieval date, yet the provider status was "active" when captured [1]. The evidence does not show a final result or resolution, and it does not explain this gap. The excerpt also says the match was "initially scheduled for August 1 at 6:00AM ET" [1], which differs from the listed end time. The evidence does not explain that either.
The sample covers one market from one event. Coverage is complete for this event: one of one markets was included, and partialSample is false [1]. Because only one market was saved, no comparison with other outcomes is possible. The sample warning notes that providers may not list every possible real-world outcome [1]. No volume figures are provided, so the evidence says nothing about liquidity or trader count.
What remains uncertain
Two points matter most. First, the market title and the resolution text describe different questions, so it is unclear which contract the 0.5 prices refer to. Second, the listed end time precedes the retrieval date, and the evidence contains no resolution outcome. Compare the contract rules and close times before drawing conclusions. The equal prices should not be read as a forecast or as evidence of how the match will go.

Overview
This contract belongs to a Polymarket event for a League of Legends best-of-one match between Caldya Esport and Lausanne-Sport Esports in the Nexus League Regular Season [1]. The event page says the match was initially scheduled for August 1 at 6:00AM ET [1]. Its listed end time is 2026-08-09T03:59:00.000Z, which is a closing time written into the contract rules, not an announcement of any future event [1]. The provider lists the event status as active [1]. The market in this sample is titled "Game 1: Any Player Quadra Kill?" and has Yes and No outcomes, each recorded at 0.5 in the saved snapshot [1]. The saved event includes one market, so this is the only contract covered here. The event rules describe how the match itself would resolve. A win by either team resolves to that team, while a cancelled match, a tie, or a delay beyond 7 days without a winner resolves 50-50 [1]. A forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before the start also resolves 50-50, while a forfeit or walkover after the match begins resolves to the team that wins [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from gol.gg, with a consensus of credible reporting, including video evidence, as a fallback if final results are not published within 2 hours of the event's conclusion [1]. The excerpt does not spell out how the quadra kill question itself is settled, so these match-level rules should not be assumed to govern that question.
Why It Matters
The contract title asks whether any player records a quadra kill in Game 1 of this match [1]. Its prices are snapshot values from the provider and are not executable quotes or verified probabilities, so a price of 0.5 for each outcome should be read only as what the provider showed at observation time [1]. Trading volume is not included in this sample, and it would not indicate liquidity or the number of participants even if it were. Because the event's listed end time is written in the contract rules, the date describes when the contract closes under those rules rather than when any in-game event occurred [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
