About This Event
This market will resolve according to the listed player who wins the 2026 Toto Japan Classic tournament. If a listed player is eliminated from contention for the Toto Japan Classic tournament based on the official rules of the tournament, the relevant market will immediately resolve to "No". If an unlisted player wins the Toto Japan Classic tournament this market will resolve to "Other". In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by LPGA Tour official tournament rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If no winner is announced by November 15, 2026 at 11:59PM ET this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the LPGA Tour website (https://www.lpga.com/).

What the contract measures
The sampled contracts belong to one Polymarket event, "LPGA: Toto Japan Classic Winner." Each market asks whether a single named player will win the 2026 Toto Japan Classic. The rules say the market "will resolve according to the listed player who wins the 2026 Toto Japan Classic tournament" [1]. Several rules change the outcome. If a listed player is eliminated from contention under the tournament's rules, that market "will immediately resolve to 'No'" [1]. If an unlisted player wins, the market "will resolve to 'Other'" [1]. If no winner is announced by November 15, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, the market "will resolve to 'Other'" [1]. The primary resolution source is the official results on the LPGA Tour website [1].
Reading the snapshot
The saved data was observed at 2026-11-03T00:00:05.823Z and retrieved at 2026-11-03T02:35:57.125Z [1]. These are historical snapshot times, not live prices. The sample includes 12 of 100 markets from this event, so it is a partial sample. Each included market shows a Yes price of 0.495 and a No price of 0.505. Those figures are identical across all 12 players in the sample. This does not show that the players are equally likely to win. Prices are snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. Because the sample excludes 88 markets, the omitted players are not implied to be priced lower or higher.
Each market is a separate yes-or-no contract. The prices should not be combined into an average or ranking across players, and the sample should not be treated as the full field. The listed market end time is 2026-11-09T04:59:00.000Z [1], which is earlier than the November 15 no-winner deadline in the rules. The listed end time is not an announced event date, and the rules do not state when the tournament itself is scheduled.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why any price is where it is, and it does not report trading volume, liquidity, or the number of traders. The "Other" outcome is described in the rules but no price for it appears in the supplied markets, so its pricing cannot be read from this sample. Whether a listed player is eliminated, whether an unlisted player wins, and the actual tournament result are not included in the evidence. Readers should check the official LPGA results and the provider's current status before drawing conclusions.

Saved Nov 3, 2026 UTCOverview
The LPGA: Toto Japan Classic Winner contract is a Polymarket event with a separate market for each listed player, asking whether that player will win the 2026 Toto Japan Classic. Each market has a Yes and a No outcome [1]. Prices are snapshots of those outcomes. They are not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The contract's rules name the listed player who wins the 2026 tournament as the deciding result. If a listed player is eliminated from contention under the tournament's official rules, that player's market resolves to No. If an unlisted player wins, the event resolves to Other [1]. In a tie, the official winner is determined under LPGA Tour official tournament rules. If multiple winners are announced, the market resolves to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically [1]. If no winner is announced by November 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves to Other [1]. The primary resolution source is the official results published on the LPGA Tour website [1]. The tournament itself is an annual women's professional golf event in Japan. Wikipedia describes it as jointly sanctioned by the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour [2]. The contract's listed end time is 2026-11-09T04:59:00.000Z, which is the provider's recorded end time for the market and not an announced tournament date [1].
Historical Context
Wikipedia states that the tournament has taken place every year since 1973 at various locations and is typically held in early November [2]. It was an unofficial money event on the LPGA Tour from 1973 to 1975 [2]. From 2006 through 2015 it was played at Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club in Shima, Mie. In 2016 and 2017 it was held at the Minori Course of Taiheiyo Club in Omitama, Ibaraki, and it moved back to the North Course of Seta Golf Course in Ōtsu, Shiga for 2018 events [2]. Wikipedia also describes the 2026 LPGA of Japan Tour as the 58th season of that tour [3]. These sources give background only. They do not establish the 2026 field, the tournament's 2026 results, or any current status of the event.
Why It Matters
The contract measures whether a specific listed player is the official winner of the 2026 Toto Japan Classic under the stated rules [1]. Each player's market is a separate binary question, and the rules give specific outcomes for elimination, unlisted winners, ties, and the absence of a declared winner by November 15, 2026 [1]. Because the official LPGA Tour results are the primary resolution source, the rules point to that source for determining the outcome [1]. Understanding the rule set matters more than any single price, since the listed prices are snapshots and not executable quotes [1].
