About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of passing yards Joe Burrow records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Joe Burrow does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many passing yards Joe Burrow recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
This event contains Polymarket contracts on Joe Burrow's passing yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each contract resolves to "Yes" if the number of passing yards he records "equals or exceeds the listed number," and to "No" otherwise [1]. If Burrow does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or if it cannot be determined how many passing yards he recorded, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NFL, although "a consensus of credible reporting may also be used" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-18T00:00:06.191Z, and the evidence was retrieved at 2026-10-18T02:41:56.399Z [1]. These are snapshot values, not live or executable quotes, so current prices may differ. The sample includes all five saved markets for this event and is not marked as partial [1]. The Yes prices by threshold were 0.835 for 3,499.5+ yards, 0.715 for 3,749.5+, 0.685 for 3,999.5+, 0.53 for 4,499.5+, and 0.5 for 4,249.5+ [1]. Listed in ascending yardage, the Yes prices fall as the threshold rises, which matches the rule structure, since a higher threshold requires more passing yards to resolve "Yes" [1]. The No prices in the snapshot are 0.165, 0.285, 0.315, 0.47, and 0.5 respectively [1].
All five contracts share the same end time and resolution wording, so the only difference among them is the yardage threshold [1]. Because only one platform appears in this evidence, no cross-platform comparison is possible.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not establish that every possible real-world outcome is listed. The sample warning states that including all saved markets "does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome," so the five thresholds should not be treated as the full field [1]. Prices are not verified probabilities, and the evidence includes no volume, liquidity, or trader counts [1]. The evidence also does not describe Burrow's playing status, the season schedule, or any recent reporting, so those factors cannot be assessed here. The 50-50 and early-end provisions could affect settlement, but the excerpt does not explain how they would be applied beyond the quoted wording [1].

Overview
This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Pro Football: Joe Burrow 2026-27 Regular Season Passing Yards." Each contract asks whether Joe Burrow will record at least a listed number of passing yards during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The event contains five saved markets, with thresholds of 3,499.5, 3,749.5, 3,999.5, 4,249.5 and 4,499.5 passing yards [1]. A "Yes" outcome means Burrow reaches or exceeds the threshold, and a "No" outcome means he does not [1]. The resolution rules address several edge cases. If Burrow does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the regular season is shortened, truncated or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after the stated January 26, 2027 cutoff, or it cannot be determined how many passing yards Burrow recorded in that window, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The rules name official information from the NFL as the resolution source, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The listed end time for the contract is January 27, 2027 at 04:59 UTC [1]. That is the contract's closing time under its rules, not an announced date for any game or event. The saved snapshot was observed on October 18, 2026 at 00:00 UTC. At that observation, the Yes side for the 3,499.5 threshold was priced at 0.835, and the Yes side for the 4,249.5 threshold was priced at 0.5 [1]. These are snapshot prices from a data provider, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and a different price on a different threshold does not by itself indicate an opportunity.
Historical Context
Background on Burrow comes from a Wikipedia article. After three seasons of college football with the Ohio State Buckeyes, he played two seasons for the LSU Tigers, winning the Heisman Trophy and the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2019. The Bengals selected him first overall in the 2020 NFL draft [2]. This is historical background on the player, not a current update on his 2026 status or playing time.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single season statistic: Burrow's total passing yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season, compared against each listed threshold [1]. Because the thresholds span from 3,499.5 to 4,499.5 yards, each market reflects a different level of production that the contract requires. Its rules also make availability and season completeness part of the outcome, since a missed season leads to a "No" result and a cancelled or unresolvable season leads to "50-50" [1]. Readers should check the official rules and the resolution source named by the provider before relying on any interpretation [1].
