About This Event
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 4 match between Clutchain and LPH Gaming in the Exort Series Main Stage, initially scheduled for May 12 at 8:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Clutchain" if Clutchain win the match against LPH Gaming. This market will resolve to "LPH Gaming" if LPH Gaming win the match against Clutchain. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Overview
This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Counter-Strike: Clutchain vs LPH Gaming (BO3) - Exort Series Main Stage", a Counter-Strike contract in the Sports category. The event refers to a Counter-Strike Round 4 match between Clutchain and LPH Gaming in the Exort Series Main Stage, which the contract says was "initially scheduled for May 12 at 8:30AM ET" [1]. The word "initially" matters: the contract text describes the original schedule, so the listed dates should not be read as confirmation of when the match was played. The event contains a match-winner contract that resolves to Clutchain if Clutchain wins and to LPH Gaming if LPH Gaming wins [1]. It also includes two map-level markets, one for Map 1 and one for Map 2, each asking whether the total kills in that map will be odd or even [1]. The event's listed end time is 2026-05-20 at 03:59 UTC, and the provider status shown in the saved record is active [1]. An end time in the contract rules is a deadline for resolution, not an announced event date.
Why It Matters
The match-winner contract measures which of the two named teams is declared the winner of the Round 4 Exort Series Main Stage match, using the resolution rules described in the contract [1]. The two map markets are separate contracts, each with odd and even outcomes, and they are not described by the source beyond their titles [1]. The saved snapshot shows both map markets priced at 0.5 for Odd and 0.5 for Even [1]. These are recorded prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and they do not indicate what the market expects the outcome to be. The rules describe several outcomes that produce a 50-50 resolution, including cancellation, a tie, a delay beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner, and a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover in which a team withdraws before the start [1]. If a match begins but is not completed and one team wins because of the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, the contract resolves to the team that wins [1]. Results are to come from hltv.org, and if that site has not published final results within 2 hours after the event concludes, a consensus of credible reporting, which may include video evidence, can be used instead [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the match-winner contract resolve to?
It resolves to Clutchain if Clutchain wins the match against LPH Gaming, and to LPH Gaming if LPH Gaming wins the match against Clutchain [1].
When does a contract resolve 50-50 instead of to a team?
The rules say the market resolves 50-50 if the match is canceled without being played, ends in a tie, is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner, or ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover where a team withdraws before the start [1].
What source is used to decide the result?
The stated resolution source is official information from hltv.org. If hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used, including video evidence [1].
Do the prices shown mean one outcome is more likely?
No. The saved map market prices are 0.5 for both Odd and Even in each map market [1]. These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, so they should not be read as a forecast of either outcome.
