About This Event

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving touchdowns Ladd McConkey records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Ladd McConkey does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns Ladd McConkey recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures

The supplied event is "Pro Football: Ladd McConkey 2026-27 Regular Season Receiving Touchdowns" on Polymarket. Each contract asks whether McConkey will record at least a stated number of receiving touchdowns in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. The contracts are threshold markets. The Yes outcome requires the count to equal or meet the listed threshold, and the No outcome covers a lower count [1].

The rules include several special cases. If McConkey does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves No [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is based on available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the count cannot be determined, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The stated resolution source is official NFL information, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1].

The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. This is a contract closing time, not a prediction of when any game or announcement will occur.

Reading the snapshot

The prices come from a provider observation at 2026-10-16T03:00:06.094Z, retrieved at 2026-10-16T04:59:22.486Z [1]. They describe that earlier moment only and are not live quotes. The five included thresholds show Yes prices of 0.9215 for 1.5 or more, 0.685 for 3.5 or more, 0.21 for 5.5 or more, 0.085 for 9.5 or more, and 0.08 for 7.5 or more [1].

The 9.5 threshold is listed above the 7.5 threshold in the saved sample, even though the higher threshold has the larger Yes price. This ordering is the sample's listing order and does not explain itself, so readers should check the individual contract wording before interpreting the two prices together.

All five markets are included from one provider event, and the coverage record marks the sample as complete for that event [1]. The selection rule ranks markets by Yes price, so the sample is not a random selection of possible outcomes [1]. The sample warning also states that the provider list does not establish every possible real-world outcome [1].

What remains uncertain

These prices are snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The supplied evidence does not include trade size, liquidity, or the number of traders, and volume should not be read as either. The evidence also gives no reason for any price level or movement.

Because the 50-50 and No rules differ, a Yes price cannot be compared directly with a probability of a specific number of touchdowns. Contracts on other platforms or other events may use different wording or close times, so their prices should not be averaged with these figures or treated as an arbitrage signal without a full rule comparison.

Overview

This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Pro Football: Ladd McConkey 2026-27 Regular Season Receiving Touchdowns." The event groups yes or no contracts on how many receiving touchdowns the Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1][2]. Each saved market uses a different threshold. The saved event includes thresholds of 1.5, 3.5, 5.5, 7.5 and 9.5 or more receiving touchdowns, and each market is a separate yes or no contract [1]. The contract rules define the measure precisely. A market resolves "Yes" if the number of receiving touchdowns McConkey records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number, and "No" otherwise [1]. The rules also state that if McConkey does not play in that regular season for any reason, the market resolves "No" [1]. Only receiving touchdowns in the regular season count. Playoff games are outside the stated measurement window. The rules anticipate disruption. If the regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after the stated cutoff of January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns McConkey recorded in that window, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NFL, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The timing of the contract should be read carefully. The listed end time of the event is 2027-01-27 at 04:59 UTC [1]. This is the contract's listed closing time, not a record that any game has been played or that the market has resolved. Prices in the event were observed at a specific moment and were retrieved shortly afterward, as shown in the dated snapshot. A price in this event is a snapshot of a traded or displayed contract price on that observation, not an executable quote, a verified probability, or a forecast of McConkey's actual output. As background, McConkey is described in a Wikipedia article as an American professional football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Chargers who played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was selected by the Chargers in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft [2]. That article is general background and does not confirm his status for the 2026-27 season. The contract's "No" outcome for non-participation makes availability a direct factor in how the contract can resolve.

Historical Context

Background on the league's season structure is available from a Wikipedia article on the 2024 NFL season, which says that season was the 105th season of the National Football League and that its regular season concluded on January 5, 2025 [3]. That season is separate from the 2026-27 regular season covered by this contract, so it illustrates how a regular season is bounded in time rather than describing the contract's own season. The contract's window runs from the start of the 2026-27 regular season through its stated cutoff of January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET for postponement purposes [1].

Why It Matters

The contract measures a single, countable performance statistic: the number of receiving touchdowns McConkey records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Because the event lists several thresholds, it provides separate yes or no contracts on whether his total reaches each listed level [1]. The thresholds are the core of the measure, so a reader should compare each contract only against its own threshold. The event's saved markets are the five thresholds shown in the snapshot, and the saved sample includes all of them [1]. That does not establish that the provider lists every possible threshold, so the set should not be treated as a complete ladder. The rules tie the measure to official data. Resolution uses official information from the NFL, with consensus reporting as a possible alternative [1]. Availability is a strict condition, since non-participation resolves the market to "No" [1]. The contract therefore depends on both his on-field production and whether he plays in the stated regular season.

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update.
