About This Event

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 3 match between METANOIA WOLVES and 9daplug in the Gamers Club Liga Série A Playoffs, initially scheduled for May 5 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "METANOIA WOLVES" if METANOIA WOLVES win the match against 9daplug. This market will resolve to "9daplug" if 9daplug win the match against METANOIA WOLVES. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

What the contract measures

The supplied Polymarket event covers a Counter-Strike match between METANOIA WOLVES and 9daplug, a BO3 in the Gamers Club Liga Série A Playoffs [1]. The source describes it as the Quarterfinal 3 match, "initially scheduled for May 5 at 3:00PM ET" [1]. That is the original schedule in the rules text, not a confirmed or upcoming date.

The two markets in this snapshot do not ask who wins the match. Each asks whether total kills on a given map will be odd or even, with outcomes "Odd" and "Even" [1]. The excerpt says the resolution source is official information from hltv.org, and that a consensus of credible reporting may be used if final results are not published within 2 hours after the event concludes [1]. The same excerpt sets 50-50 treatment for a canceled match, a tie, a forfeit, or a delay beyond 7 days without a winner, though those clauses govern the match winner rather than these kill-count markets [1].

Reading the snapshot

Both markets list Odd at 0.5 and Even at 0.5 [1]. The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-16T06:00:05.833Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-16T07:00:28.608Z [1]. These are provider snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The equal split shows only that the two listed prices matched at observation time. It does not show what traders think or why the prices are where they are.

The listed end time is 2026-05-13T03:59:00.000Z [1]. That timestamp is earlier than the retrieval time, so it is a past close time, yet the provider's saved record still shows status "active" [1]. The snapshot should not be read as a live market. No volume figures appear in the evidence, and volume would not indicate liquidity in any case.

Only one platform appears in the evidence, so no cross-platform comparison is possible.

What remains uncertain

The sample includes both saved markets for this event, with partialSample set to false [1]. That covers the saved provider event only. The source notes that this does not establish that the provider lists every possible outcome in the real-world field [1].

The evidence does not show the match result, the final kill totals, or whether the event was completed under the stated rules. It also contains no settlement information. Prices in this snapshot should not be used to infer any of those outcomes.

Overview

This PredictPedia entry covers a Counter-Strike match between METANOIA WOLVES and 9daplug, a best-of-three (BO3) quarterfinal in the Gamers Club Liga Série A Playoffs. The source describes it as the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 3 match and says it was initially scheduled for May 5 at 3:00PM ET [1]. The word "initially" matters: the source records the original schedule, not a confirmed date for any later event. The event page lists two markets, both about the total number of kills in a single map: one for Map 1 and one for Map 2. Each market has two outcomes, Odd and Even, and both are priced at 0.5 in the saved snapshot [1]. A price of 0.5 in this record is a snapshot of the provider's displayed price at one moment. It is not an executable quote, and it is not a verified probability that either outcome will occur. The source also gives a listed end time of May 13, 2026 at 03:59 UTC for both markets [1]. That date is earlier than the observation time recorded for this snapshot, so the listed end time should be read as a field in the provider's data rather than as evidence that the markets are still open today. The source's provider status is recorded as active at the time of retrieval [1].

Why It Matters

The two saved markets measure something narrower than who wins the match. Each one asks whether the total number of kills in a single map will be odd or even [1]. Because the snapshot shows both outcomes at 0.5, the record gives no indication of which side the provider's price favors. The event page's resolution text in the source describes match-winner outcomes, including how ties, cancellations, forfeits and delays are handled, and it names HLTV as the resolution source with a fallback to consensus reporting if final results are not published within two hours of the event's conclusion [1]. That text does not describe the odd and even kill markets saved here, so readers should not assume those rules apply to the kill-count contracts. The contract also depends on what the saved record includes. It contains only the two kill-count markets for this event, and the provider's sample for this event is complete as recorded [1]. Changes in the provider's listing after the snapshot would not appear in this entry.

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. Frequently Asked Questions

What do the Map 1 and Map 2 markets measure?

Each market is titled as an odd or even total kills question for a specific map, with Odd and Even as the two outcomes [1].

Why does a 0.5 price not mean a 50 percent chance?

The saved prices are snapshots from the provider at one observation time and are not executable quotes or verified probabilities [1].

Which resolution rules are described in the source?

The source's resolution text describes a match-winner contract, covering ties, cancellations, forfeits and delays, and names HLTV as the resolution source [1]. The source does not state those rules for the odd and even kill markets.
