About This Event
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round of 16 match between Imperial and Alzon in the CCT South America Series #1 Playoffs, initially scheduled for May 7 at 6:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Imperial" if Imperial win the match against Alzon. This market will resolve to "Alzon" if Alzon win the match against Imperial. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

What the contract measures
This entry comes from a Polymarket event titled "Counter-Strike: Imperial vs Alzon (BO3) - CCT South America Series #1 Playoffs" [1]. The market in the saved snapshot is not a match-winner contract. It is titled "Map 1: Odd/Even Total Kills?" with outcomes "Odd" and "Even" [1]. The event text describes winner contracts that would resolve to "Imperial" or "Alzon" [1]. Those contracts are not part of this sample and should not be compared with this one.
The resolution rules matter. The stated source is official information from hltv.org, with a fallback to "a consensus of credible reporting including video evidence" if final results are not published within 2 hours after the event's conclusion [1]. The rules also state that cancellation, a tie, a delay beyond 7 days without a winner, or a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before the start would resolve the market 50-50 [1]. The listed end time is 2026-05-15T03:59:00.000Z [1]. The rules say the match was "initially scheduled for May 7 at 6:00PM ET" [1]. That is contract wording, not an announced event date.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed this market at 2026-10-25T18:00:06.091Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-25T19:53:41.541Z [1]. Both times differ from the listed end time, so the listed close should not be read as the observation time. The saved prices are 0.5 for Odd and 0.5 for Even [1]. These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The record contains no volume, order book depth, or trader count, so it cannot show liquidity or how many participants favor either outcome.
The sample covers one market from one event. The coverage record shows one market included out of one total, with partialSample set to false [1]. The saved event therefore contains only this market. The provider's sample warning also notes that this does not establish that every possible real-world outcome is listed [1].
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not include a match result, a settlement, or any reporting on the match. It does not explain the equal prices. Because the listed end time is earlier than the retrieval time, readers should check the provider for the current status before relying on this snapshot. Comparisons with other platforms or other contracts would require matching exact wording, since differences in resolution rules can change what a contract pays out.

Overview
This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event for a Counter-Strike match between Imperial and Alzon, listed as a best-of-three (BO3) contest in the CCT South America Series #1 Playoffs. The event page describes it as a Round of 16 match that was "initially scheduled for May 7 at 6:00PM ET" [1]. The event is categorized under Sports [1]. The market covered here is a map-level contract titled "Map 1: Odd/Even Total Kills?" with two outcomes, "Odd" and "Even" [1]. In the saved snapshot, both outcomes were priced at 0.5 [1]. That figure is a snapshot of a price at one moment. It is not an executable quote or a verified probability, and it does not indicate what either outcome would cost now. The event's rules describe how the overall match winner would resolve. The market resolves to "Imperial" if Imperial wins and to "Alzon" if Alzon wins [1]. The rules say the match resolves 50-50 if it is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner being determined [1]. A forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before the match starts also resolves 50-50, while a win by forfeit after a match has begun can resolve to the winning team [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from hltv.org, with a consensus of credible reporting, including video evidence, allowed if hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event concludes [1]. The listed end time of 2026-05-15T03:59:00Z is a date written into the contract rules. It is not an announced event date [1].
Why It Matters
The contract's title indicates that it concerns whether the total number of kills on the first map is odd or even. Traders reading this market should note that the supplied rules cover the match winner and the 50-50 conditions for the overall match, not the specific resolution method for the map-level odd or even outcome [1]. Anyone relying on this contract would need to check the full market rules on the provider before drawing conclusions about how it settles. The saved event lists a single market for this match, so the sample includes all saved markets for this event [1]. That does not show that the provider lists every possible outcome for the match.
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-19 at 00:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Map 1 Odd/Even Total Kills contract measure?
Based on its title, the contract asks whether the total number of kills on the first map is odd or even, with the outcomes "Odd" and "Even" [1]. The full map-level resolution rules are not included in the supplied rules, so the exact counting method should be checked on the provider page.
Which team does the match winner contract resolve to?
The event rules state that the market resolves to "Imperial" if Imperial wins against Alzon and to "Alzon" if Alzon wins [1]. The rules also say that a cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner resolves the market 50-50 [1].
What source is used to determine the result?
The stated resolution source is official information from hltv.org. If hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event concludes, a consensus of credible reporting may be used, including video evidence [1].
Does the 0.5 price mean each outcome has a 50 percent chance?
No. The saved snapshot shows both outcomes at 0.5 [1], but that is a price observation at a specific time. It is not an executable quote or a verified probability.
