About This Event

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of passing yards Drake Maye records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Drake Maye does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many passing yards Drake Maye recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures

This event is a set of Polymarket contracts on Drake Maye's passing yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each contract asks whether he will reach a specific total. The rules say the market "will resolve to "Yes" if the number of passing yards Drake Maye records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number" [1]. If he does not play in the season "for any reason," the market resolves to "No" [1].

The rules also cover disruptions. If the season "is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason," the outcome is decided "using available official data for completed games" [1]. If the season is cancelled, or postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or if the total "cannot be determined," the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The resolution source is "official information from the NFL," though "a consensus of credible reporting may also be used" [1]. The listed end time for all five contracts is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. That is a closing time in the contract data, not an announced event date.

Reading the snapshot

The saved provider observation was taken at 2026-10-16T03:00:06Z, and the record was retrieved at 2026-10-16T05:30:18Z [1]. These prices describe that saved moment only. They are not live quotes and should not be treated as executable prices.

The five contracts use different thresholds, so their prices are not directly comparable as a single distribution. The quoted Yes prices are:

  • 3,299.5 or more yards: Yes 0.847, No 0.153
  • 3,549.5 or more yards: Yes 0.735, No 0.265
  • 3,799.5 or more yards: Yes 0.565, No 0.435
  • 4,049.5 or more yards: Yes 0.275, No 0.725
  • 4,299.5 or more yards: Yes 0.245, No 0.755

Within each contract, the Yes and No prices sum to 1.00 in the saved data. The prices fall as the threshold rises, which is what the wording would lead a reader to expect. The snapshot does not explain why any price is where it is, and it does not show how many participants hold each view.

What remains uncertain

The sample includes all five saved markets for this event, and the record reports no partial sample [1]. The data notes that this "does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome" [1]. Only these thresholds should be compared.

The evidence contains no volume, liquidity, or trader counts, so it cannot show how deep any market is. Nothing here reports current news about Maye, the season schedule, or any roster status. Because the rules include a "50-50" outcome and a "No" result if he does not play, a reader should check the full rule text before relying on any contract.

Overview

This contract is a yes or no market on how many passing yards Drake Maye records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The event is listed on Polymarket and groups five separate contracts, each set at a different passing-yard threshold. Each contract asks whether Maye's regular-season passing total will equal or exceed its listed number [1]. The event's listed end time is January 27, 2027 at 04:59 UTC, and the saved snapshot was observed on October 16, 2026 [1]. The price shown for each contract is a snapshot from that observation, not an executable quote or a verified probability. The rules are the most important part of understanding how these contracts behave. If Maye does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the market resolves to No [1]. If the regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is determined using available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, or postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or if it cannot be determined how many passing yards Maye recorded in that window, the market resolves to 50-50 [1]. The January 26 date appears only as a rule cutoff. It is not an announced event date. The resolution source is official information from the NFL, although the rules state that a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. Because the contracts are tied to a season that has not yet been played, their prices reflect expectations and market activity at the snapshot time rather than any recorded outcome.

Historical Context

Super Bowl LX was played on February 8, 2026 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, to decide the 2025 NFL champion. The NFC champion Seattle Seahawks defeated the AFC champion New England Patriots 29-13 [3]. This is background to the Patriots, the team Maye is described as playing for [2]. It does not establish anything about the 2026-27 season, which these contracts concern.

Why It Matters

The contract measures one statistic, Maye's total passing yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season, against a set of thresholds [1]. Each threshold is its own yes or no question, so the five contracts are related but are not a ranked list of outcomes. The sample includes all five saved markets for this event, and the provider notes that this does not establish that every possible real-world outcome is listed [1]. Because the sample is complete for this event, a contract's price should be read only against its own threshold and rules, not compared to a different contract as if it were an arbitrage opportunity. Trading volume, which is not included here in any form that shows liquidity or trader counts, should not be read as a measure of market depth.

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update.
