About This Event
In the upcoming match between Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC and Palermo FC, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC" if Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Palermo FC" if Palermo FC are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

What the contract measures
The saved event is "Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC vs. Palermo FC - First Team to Score" on Polymarket [1]. The Ascoli market resolves to "Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC" if that team is the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. The Palermo market uses the same window for Palermo. The Neither market resolves to "Neither" if neither team scores in that window [1]. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded [1]. The provider lists an end time of 2026-11-06T19:30:00.000Z and describes the match as scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET [1]. The end time is a listed field, not a confirmed result. If the game is postponed, the market stays open until the game is completed. If it is canceled with no make-up game, it resolves to "Neither" [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these markets at 2026-10-27T15:00:05.980Z, and the record was retrieved at 2026-10-27T15:40:56.364Z [1]. Each of the three markets shows a Yes price of 0.48 and a No price of 0.52 [1]. Because the prices are identical, this snapshot does not rank the outcomes against one another. The three Yes prices add up to 1.44, so the quotes do not form a set that sums to 1 at the observation time. They should therefore not be read as a probability distribution. These are quoted snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The coverage record lists three of three markets for this event on one platform, with no partial sample [1]. The record does not include volume, so it says nothing about liquidity.
What remains uncertain
The sample warning states that all saved markets for these events are included, but it does not establish that the provider lists every possible real-world outcome [1]. The record contains no information after the observation time, so prices and status may have changed since then. Resolution depends on official statistics. If those are not published within two hours, Flashscore may be used, then Sofascore, then a consensus of credible reporting [1]. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market resolves 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable [1]. Later revisions to final scores are not counted [1]. The evidence does not state whether the match has been played or whether any scoring has occurred.

Saved Oct 27, 2026 UTCOverview
This PredictPedia contract is a Polymarket event for the upcoming match between Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC and Palermo FC, which the provider lists as scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:30 PM ET [1]. The event contains three markets: one asking whether Ascoli will score first, one asking whether Palermo will score first, and one asking whether neither team will score first [1]. The match has not yet been played as of the retrieval time, so none of these outcomes is known. The rules are narrow. Each market refers only to the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, so extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count [1]. If the match is postponed, the market stays open until the game is completed. If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market resolves to Neither [1]. A market also resolves to Neither if no team scores in that window [1]. The primary resolution source is the official statistics for the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. If those final statistics are not published within two hours after the event ends, the rules allow data from Flashscore, then Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting [1]. Settlement follows the official final result, and later revisions to an officially declared final score are not counted [1]. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market resolves 50-50, or to Draw where that option applies [1]. The prices shown in these markets are point-in-time snapshots from the provider. They are not executable quotes, and they are not verified probabilities of the outcomes. Trading volume is also not a measure of liquidity or of how many people took part.
Why It Matters
The contract measures which side, if either, scores first in the scheduled match during the regulation window defined by the provider [1]. Its value depends on that single event, so it resolves once the official result for that window is established under the stated source hierarchy [1]. Because the rules specify how postponements, cancellations, and missing data are handled, the contract is designed to settle even in unusual circumstances, though the 50-50 or Draw outcome applies only if no acceptable data appears within 24 hours [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-27 at 15:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
