About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Egypt Premier League for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Egypt Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Egypt Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Egypt Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

What the contract measures
Each market in this snapshot asks whether a named club will be the runner-up in the 2026-27 Egypt Premier League [1]. A market resolves "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up for that season, and "No" otherwise [1]. If a club becomes unable to finish as runner-up, for example by being eliminated, its market resolves to "No" [1]. If several teams are declared second-place finishers, the market resolves in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically [1]. If the event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or no runner-up is declared within that timeframe, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-08-01T03:59:00.000Z [1]. This is a close time written into the contract, not an announced event date.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed the event at 2026-10-20T06:00:05.944Z, and the record was retrieved at 2026-10-20T07:42:56.027Z [1]. These timestamps describe this snapshot only and do not establish current conditions. The sample includes 12 of 20 markets in the saved Polymarket event, so it is a partial sample [1]. Markets were selected by Yes price, then volume, so the eight omitted markets are not shown and should not be read as lower-priced or less likely. Each of the 12 included markets lists Yes at 0.495 and No at 0.505 [1]. These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. Identical prices across the included clubs do not show that traders agree or explain why the prices are set where they are. Volume is not a measure of liquidity or of the number of traders.
Each market is a separate contract about a different club, so the prices should be read within this event only. Wording and close times can differ between platforms, but this snapshot contains only one provider's event, so no cross-platform comparison is possible here.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not include prices for the eight omitted markets or any pricing for the "Other" outcome. The resolution source is official information from the Egypt Premier League, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The record does not describe the season's progress or whether any listed club has been eliminated. Prices in this snapshot may not reflect later conditions.

Saved Oct 20, 2026 UTCOverview
This PredictPedia topic concerns a Polymarket event titled "Egypt Premier League: 2026-27 Runner-Up" [1]. Each listed market asks whether a specific club will finish as runner-up in the 2026-27 Egypt Premier League. The contract resolves to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as runner-up under the league's rules, and to "No" otherwise [1]. The contract includes several conditions. If it becomes impossible for a listed club to finish as runner-up under the league's rules, for example because the club has been eliminated, that club's market resolves to "No" [1]. If more than one club is declared a second-place finisher, the market resolves in favor of the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically [1]. If the event is cancelled, is postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or no runner-up has been declared within that timeframe, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-08-01T03:59:00.000Z [1]. This date is a listed end time in the contract rules, not an announced date for any league event. The resolution source is official information from the Egypt Premier League, although the contract also allows a consensus of credible reporting to be used [1]. Because the rules name both official information and reporting, the outcome depends on how the league's final standings are documented and reported after the season.
Historical Context
The Egyptian Premier League is described as the top professional league for association football clubs in the Egyptian football league system, established in 1948 [2][3]. The 2025–26 season was the 67th edition of the league [3]. The 2026–27 season is described as the 68th edition [2]. The sources supplied for this topic define the league and its edition numbering but do not provide standings, fixtures or results for either season.
Why It Matters
The contract measures whether a single named club finishes second in the Egypt Premier League's 2026-27 season, as determined under the league's rules [1]. It is a narrow question: a club can win the league, finish lower, or be eliminated, and in each case the runner-up outcome is settled by the contract's terms [1]. The rules on tied second places, cancellation and the postponement cutoff determine how an unusual season would be classified [1]. Readers should check the full contract text on the provider page, since this summary paraphrases its conditions.
Snapshot context
