About This Event

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving yards Emeka Egbuka records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Emeka Egbuka does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving yards Emeka Egbuka recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures

This event is a set of five Polymarket contracts on how many receiving yards Emeka Egbuka records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each contract resolves "Yes" if his total equals or exceeds its listed threshold, which ranges from 499.5 to 1,299.5 yards [1].

The rules include several special cases. If Egbuka does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves "No" [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or the yardage total cannot be determined, the market resolves "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official NFL information, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1].

The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00Z [1]. This is a contract closing field, not a date on which any event is announced or expected to occur.

Reading the snapshot

The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-16T03:00:06Z, and the record was retrieved at 2026-10-16T05:54:21Z [1]. These are saved values from earlier today, not live quotes, and they are not executable prices.

Across the five thresholds, the Yes prices are 0.855 (499.5+), 0.745 (699.5+), 0.72 (899.5+), 0.185 (1,099.5+), and 0.155 (1,299.5+) [1]. Each contract's No price is the complement of its Yes price in the snapshot. The Yes prices fall as the threshold rises, with the largest drop between the 899.5 and 1,099.5 thresholds. Each contract is a separate question, so these figures should be read as individual snapshot values rather than as one distribution of outcomes.

The evidence shows five of five saved markets for this event, with no partial sample flagged [1]. The provider's own note states that this does not establish that every possible real-world outcome is listed [1]. Volume is not included in the supplied data, so nothing can be said about liquidity or the number of traders.

What remains uncertain

The evidence does not explain why prices are where they are, and it does not describe any news or recent developments. It also does not provide any historical accuracy information about this type of market. Because the contracts use different thresholds, their prices should not be compared as if they measured the same outcome, and differences in price do not by themselves indicate an opportunity.

Overview

This market is a Polymarket contract on how many receiving yards Emeka Egbuka will record in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each market in the event asks whether he will reach a specific yardage threshold. A "Yes" outcome resolves if his receiving yards during the regular season equal or exceed the listed number, and a "No" outcome resolves otherwise [1]. The saved event includes five thresholds: 499.5, 699.5, 899.5, 1,099.5, and 1,299.5 yards [1]. The contract includes several special rules. If Egbuka does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving yards he recorded in that period, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NFL, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The saved event lists an end time of 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. That is the contract's listed end time, not an announced date for any game or event. The saved Wikipedia pages for the 2026 Ohio State Buckeyes and Tampa Bay Buccaneers seasons describe those teams' 2026 seasons but do not mention Egbuka, so they do not provide information about his role or statistics [2][3].

Why It Matters

The contract measures a single player's receiving yardage across one season. Its thresholds allow a reader to see how the listed price changes as the yardage target rises. In the saved snapshot observed at 2026-10-16T03:00:06.094Z, the Yes price was 0.855 for the 499.5-yard threshold, 0.745 for 699.5, 0.72 for 899.5, 0.185 for 1,099.5, and 0.155 for 1,299.5 [1]. These are snapshot values, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. Because the contract is tied to official NFL data and the special rules for absence, shortened seasons, and cancellation, its outcome depends on those rules as much as on the yardage figure itself [1].

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update.
