About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving touchdowns George Kittle records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If George Kittle does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns George Kittle recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The Polymarket event asks how many receiving touchdowns George Kittle records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each market is a threshold question. The three saved markets ask whether he will record at least 5.5, 7.5, or 9.5 receiving touchdowns, and each resolves to "Yes" if the count equals or exceeds the listed number [1]. The rules also say that if Kittle does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the season is cancelled, or postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the count cannot be determined, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The resolution source is official NFL information, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1].
The listed end time for all three markets is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. That is a contract closing time, not a record of when the season ends or when any event is scheduled.
Reading the snapshot
The saved prices were observed at 2026-10-16T03:00:06Z and retrieved at 05:36 UTC the same day [1]. They describe that moment only. They are not executable quotes or verified probabilities.
The observed Yes prices were 0.685 for 5.5 or more touchdowns, 0.42 for 7.5 or more, and 0.26 for 9.5 or more [1]. Because these are separate thresholds, the prices should be read one market at a time. They should not be averaged or combined into a single estimate. The fact that the 9.5 contract is priced lower than the 5.5 contract reflects the different thresholds in the rules, not a comparison between platforms or events.
The sample covers all three saved markets from this one Polymarket event, with no partial sample flagged [1]. The provider's selection note and sample warning state that this does not establish that the provider lists every possible outcome [1]. Volume is not reported here as a measure of liquidity or trader count, so no conclusions about either can be drawn.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why any price is where it is, and it contains no recent news about Kittle, his team, or the season. It also contains no information about how well these prices have forecast outcomes historically. Because the market resolves on NFL data or consensus reporting, the final count depends on events after the snapshot, which are not part of this evidence. A reader comparing these contracts with markets on other platforms should check that the wording, thresholds, and close times match before comparing prices.

Overview
This contract is a yes-or-no market on how many receiving touchdowns George Kittle records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The event lists three thresholds: 5.5 or more, 7.5 or more, and 9.5 or more. Under the rules, a market resolves to "Yes" if Kittle's count equals or exceeds the listed number, and to "No" otherwise [1]. For the 5.5 market, for example, a "Yes" outcome requires at least six receiving touchdowns, because the count must equal or exceed 5.5. The rules also set out several special cases. If Kittle does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is determined using available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns Kittle recorded in that timeframe, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NFL, although the rules allow a consensus of credible reporting to be used as well [1]. The listed end time for the contract is 2027-01-27 at 04:59 UTC [1]. This is a date written into the contract rules, not an announced event date, and the rules themselves tie the special cases to the January 26, 2027 cutoff described above. The market is a tracked event on Polymarket with three outcome markets, all of which were included in the saved sample [1]. The saved sample covers the provider event as it was recorded, and the provider notes that this does not establish that every possible real-world outcome is listed.
Historical Context
Background on Kittle's career is limited to a general biography. According to that source, he was selected by the 49ers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft after playing college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes. The same source describes him as a seven-time Pro Bowler who was a first-team All-Pro in 2019 and 2023 [2]. This history describes past seasons only and does not indicate his status for the 2026-27 season.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single statistic, Kittle's receiving touchdowns across the 2026-27 NFL regular season, against three thresholds [1]. Because each market is a threshold rather than a prediction of an exact total, the three markets are separate contracts that can resolve differently. The special rules matter as much as the count: injury or non-participation resolves to "No," while a cancelled or undeterminable season resolves to "50-50" [1]. Traders reading the contract should therefore check the participation and cancellation clauses along with the threshold itself.
