About This Event

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Canva's private market valuation, as measured by the NPM Price reported by Nasdaq Private Market, LLC (NPM) for any date between market creation and December 31, 2026, reaches or exceeds the listed amount. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". NPM Prices are published for trading days only and are updated once daily at 1:00 PM ET on the following calendar day. If NPM has not published relevant data for all business dates in the specified period by 1:00 PM ET on January 1, 2027, this market may remain open until 11:59 PM ET on January 4, 2027. If no further data is released by that time, the market will resolve according to the data available. If NPM ceases publishing relevant data prior to the end of the specified period, this market will resolve based on the NPM data published for the period prior to the cessation of coverage, as well as any applicable public market capitalization data following an IPO or direct listing. If the company completes an IPO or direct listing before the end of the specified period, this market will consider, in addition to the relevant NPM valuations published between market creation and the IPO or direct listing date, the valuation implied by the official IPO or direct listing price, and the company's public market capitalization between the IPO or direct listing date and the end of the specified period. Public market capitalization will be determined using the highest/lowest official regular-hours trading price published for the company's primary listed common equity on its primary exchange for any trading day during the specified period, multiplied by the company's total outstanding common shares at the relevant time. If the listed company merges with or acquires another entity and remains the parent company, no change to resolution methodology applies. If the listed company is acquired, merges into another entity and is no longer the surviving parent company, or otherwise ceases to exist as an independent entity prior to the end of the period, only NPM valuations and applicable public market capitalizations achieved prior to completion of the transaction will be considered for resolution. No transaction, acquisition, or merger consideration will be considered for resolution. The resolution source for this market is NPM data published here (https://fe.secondmarket.com/companies/company-5e0e75a3-96d6-4893-8f23-9d9bac0ec1db/data?return_url=https://polymarket.com/finance/privates). The resolution source for any period following an IPO, direct listing, or relevant corporate action, will be official exchange trading data and publicly reported share counts. Revisions to previously published NPM data made after their initial release will not be considered, unless made to correct clearly erroneous data.

This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures

The contract asks whether Canva's private market valuation, as measured by the NPM Price reported by Nasdaq Private Market, LLC, reaches or exceeds a listed amount on any date from market creation through December 31, 2026 [1]. NPM prices are published on trading days and updated once daily at 1:00 PM ET on the following calendar day [1]. The rules also address an IPO or direct listing, where public market capitalization may be used, and an acquisition, where only valuations reached before the transaction count [1].

The listed end time in the saved data is 2027-01-01T12:00:00.000Z, while the rule text allows the market to stay open until 11:59 PM ET on January 4, 2027 if NPM has not published all required data by 1:00 PM ET on January 1, 2027 [1]. Readers should check the rule text, not only the listed time, to understand settlement timing.

Reading the snapshot

The saved data was observed at 2026-10-23T00:00:06.081Z and retrieved at 2026-10-23T01:59:19.911Z [1]. These are snapshots of quoted prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and they describe only the time they were recorded.

The saved sample includes six thresholds from the same Polymarket event: $42.5B (Yes 0.0285), $45B (Yes 0.023), $50B (Yes 0.0175), $60B (Yes 0.0015), $75B (Yes 0.01), and $100B (Yes 0.0135). The coverage record shows all six markets included, with no partial sample [1]. The Yes prices do not fall consistently as thresholds rise. The $60B Yes price is lower than the $75B price, which a reader may want to verify against the saved rows. The snapshot does not explain this pattern.

No other platforms appear in the supplied evidence, so no cross-platform comparison is possible.

What remains uncertain

The evidence does not explain why any price is where it is, how many traders hold each view, or what recent developments may matter. Trading volume is not included in this summary and would not indicate liquidity or trader count. Because NPM revisions are excluded unless correcting clearly erroneous data, the final resolution depends on published data that is not yet complete [1]. Anyone relying on these prices should confirm the current status at the time of use.

Overview

This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event asking whether Canva's valuation will reach a listed amount by December 31, 2026. Canva is described in the supplied Wikipedia material as an "Australian multinational software company launched in 2013" that provides "a graphic design platform to create visual content for presentations, websites, and other digital products" [2]. The company's background is therefore a software business focused on design tools, while the contract itself concerns the company's private market valuation rather than its product performance. The contract's central measure is the NPM Price reported by Nasdaq Private Market, LLC (NPM). Under the contract text, the market resolves "Yes" if Canva's private market valuation, as measured by that NPM Price, reaches or exceeds the listed amount on any date between market creation and December 31, 2026 [1]. If the threshold is never reached in that measure, the market resolves "No" [1]. The event contains six threshold markets, with listed amounts ranging from $42.5B to $100B, and each has a Yes and No outcome [1]. The resolution mechanics matter for reading the contract correctly. NPM prices are published only on trading days and are updated once daily at 1:00 PM ET on the following calendar day [1]. If NPM has not published data for all business dates in the period by 1:00 PM ET on January 1, 2027, the contract says the market may remain open until 11:59 PM ET on January 4, 2027, and will then resolve according to the data available [1]. The listed end time for the market is 2027-01-01T12:00:00.000Z [1]. That date is a contract rule and resolution timing reference, not an announced event date for any valuation change. The contract also contains rules for corporate events. If Canva completes an IPO or direct listing before the end of the period, the market would consider the valuation implied by the official listing price and the public market capitalization after listing, calculated from official regular-hours trading prices and total outstanding common shares [1]. If the company is acquired or otherwise stops existing as an independent entity, only NPM valuations and public market capitalizations achieved before the transaction would count, and transaction consideration would not be used for resolution [1]. A merger in which the listed company remains the parent does not change the methodology [1]. The price snapshot shown alongside this entry reflects the market data at the time it was recorded and is not a live quote or a verified probability. Prices on different thresholds within the same event should be read separately, since each threshold is its own contract with its own resolution outcome.

Historical Context

The supplied Wikipedia material states that Canva was launched in 2013 [2]. The supplied evidence does not include a broader history of the company's valuations, funding rounds, or the NPM price series, so no further historical trend is described here.

Why It Matters

The contract measures whether Canva's private market valuation, as reported through the NPM Price, reaches any of the listed thresholds on or before December 31, 2026 [1]. It is tied to a specific data provider and publication schedule, so the outcome depends on what NPM publishes rather than on the company's own statements. Because the contract also covers a possible IPO or direct listing and an acquisition, its resolution depends on several conditions set out in the rules [1]. Readers should check the full resolution text before interpreting any threshold.

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-23 at 00:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Frequently Asked Questions

What data determines whether this market resolves Yes?

The market uses the NPM Price reported by Nasdaq Private Market, LLC. It resolves Yes if that valuation reaches or exceeds the listed amount for any date between market creation and December 31, 2026 [1].

When does NPM publish its prices?

NPM prices are published for trading days only and are updated once daily at 1:00 PM ET on the following calendar day [1]. If data for all business dates is not published by 1:00 PM ET on January 1, 2027, the market may remain open until 11:59 PM ET on January 4, 2027 [1].

What happens if Canva lists publicly or is acquired before the end of the period?

If Canva completes an IPO or direct listing, the contract considers the implied listing price valuation and public market capitalization, based on official regular-hours trading prices and outstanding common shares [1]. If the company is acquired and no longer exists as an independent parent, only NPM valuations and public market capitalizations achieved before the transaction count, and transaction consideration is excluded [1].
