Kalshi traders give Chengdu Rongcheng a 66% chance of winning the 2026 Chinese Super League title. That is a strong favorite designation. A 66% probability means the market sees them as clearly ahead of the field, but with enough uncertainty that a loss would not be shocking. No other team has crossed the 20% threshold on the platform.

Key Factors Driving the Odds

Chengdu Rongcheng finished third in 2024 and second in 2025. They have the league's best goal differential over the past two seasons combined, plus a stable ownership group that has kept their core squad intact. The club signed two Brazilian attackers this winter who both scored double-digit goals in 2025, addressing their biggest weakness against low-block defenses.

The CSL has seen a power shift. Shanghai Port's dynasty ended when their aging core of Wu Lei and Oscar declined sharply in 2025. Shandong Taishan is dealing with a financial restructuring that forced them to sell three starters. Chengdu is the only top-four team that did not lose a key player in the offseason.

What Could Change These Odds

The CSL schedule runs from March to November. The biggest risk is the summer transfer window. If a Saudi or European club makes a midseason offer for Chengdu's star playmaker Romulo, the odds would drop sharply. That happened to Wuhan Three Towns in 2023 when they lost their top scorer in July and collapsed from first to seventh.

The other catalyst is the AFC Champions League. Chengdu qualified for the group stage this year. If they advance deep into the knockout rounds, the added fixture congestion could force squad rotation in league matches. No CSL team has won both the domestic title and made a deep AFC run since Guangzhou Evergrande in 2015.

The market is pricing Chengdu as a 2-to-1 favorite. That feels about right for a team with no obvious weakness in a weakened league, but midseason roster shocks are common in Chinese football. The odds will move if any team makes a big signing in June.
