About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of passing yards Jalen Hurts records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Jalen Hurts does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many passing yards Jalen Hurts recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
This snapshot covers five Polymarket contracts from one event, "Pro Football: Jalen Hurts 2026-27 Regular Season Passing Yards." Each contract resolves "Yes" if Jalen Hurts records at least the listed number of passing yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season, and "No" otherwise [1]. The thresholds are 2,749.5, 2,999.5, 3,249.5, 3,499.5, and 3,749.5 yards, so each contract asks a different question and should be read separately.
The rules also set edge cases. If Hurts does not play for any reason, the market resolves "No." If the season ends early, the outcome uses official data for completed games. If the season is cancelled, or postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the yardage cannot be determined, the market resolves "50-50" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z, which is a contract closing time, not a date when any football event is scheduled.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-16T06:00:05.833Z, and the record was retrieved at 2026-10-16T06:13:47.457Z [1]. These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and they may not reflect conditions at any later time.
Yes prices fall as the threshold rises: 0.36, 0.31, 0.26, then 0.146 and 0.145 for the two highest thresholds. The 3,749.5 contract is quoted at 0.146, slightly above the 3,499.5 contract at 0.145, which is an unexpected order for thresholds. The evidence does not explain this, and small differences in a single snapshot should not be treated as a meaningful ranking. Different contracts priced differently do not create an arbitrage opportunity by themselves.
The record does not include trading volume, so it says nothing about liquidity or how many traders hold each view.
What remains uncertain
The source includes all five saved markets for this event, and the record reports no partial sample. However, the sample warning states that this does not establish that the provider lists every possible outcome. No other platforms are included, so this snapshot cannot be compared with prices from other venues.
The evidence also does not explain why prices are where they are, and it contains no news about Hurts, his team, or the season. Because the record cannot show whether the outcomes are fully covered, or how the prices will change, readers should check the current provider page and the official NFL resolution source before drawing conclusions.

Overview
The market is a Polymarket event titled "Pro Football: Jalen Hurts 2026-27 Regular Season Passing Yards" [1]. Each contract asks whether Jalen Hurts will record at least a stated number of passing yards in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. The saved event contains five threshold contracts, at 2,749.5, 2,999.5, 3,249.5, 3,499.5 and 3,749.5 passing yards [1]. The resolution rules are straightforward. A contract resolves Yes if Hurts's passing yards equal or exceed the listed number, and No otherwise [1]. If Hurts does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the contract resolves No [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many passing yards Hurts recorded in that timeframe, the contract resolves 50-50 [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NFL, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27 at 04:59 UTC [1]. That date is part of the contract's listed end time. It does not announce when any game will be played or when the contract will be settled. In the saved price snapshot, the Yes prices were 0.36 for 2,749.5 yards, 0.31 for 2,999.5 yards, 0.26 for 3,249.5 yards, 0.145 for 3,499.5 yards and 0.146 for 3,749.5 yards [1]. These are prices recorded at the observation time, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and they should not be read as today's market levels. Across the five thresholds, the Yes price generally falls as the yardage threshold rises, while the two highest thresholds sit close together in price.
Historical Context
Background from the Wikipedia entry for Hurts describes his college career. He began at the University of Alabama Crimson Tide, where he led the team to consecutive College Football Playoff National Championship appearances in 2016 and 2017 [2]. After three seasons at Alabama, he used his final year of eligibility with the Oklahoma Sooners and appeared in the 2019-20 College Football Playoff [2]. These are historical facts about his career and do not confirm his current team or roster status, which is outside what this background establishes.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single season total, namely the number of passing yards Jalen Hurts records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each threshold asks whether that total reaches a specific level. Because the rules name official NFL information as the resolution source and define outcomes for injury, season disruption and cancellation, the contract's meaning depends on those specific terms [1]. Traders reading the prices should note that the contract is about one player's yardage in one season, with the rules above determining every possible outcome [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
