What the contract measures
The event asks who will finish the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing yards. Each player has a separate Yes or No contract. Per the rules, "This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing yards." [1]
The tie-breakers differ from a simple yards comparison. A tie in yards goes to the player with more rushing touchdowns, then to the higher yards per attempt, and if a tie still persists, to "Other." [1] The rules also say that if the season is cancelled, or postponed after January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or if it is unclear who led in rushing yards, the market resolves to "Other." [1] The listed end time is 2027-01-04T04:59:00.000Z. [1] This is the contract's closing time, not an announced event date. Resolution depends on official NCAA statistics, though "a consensus of credible reporting may also be used." [1]
Reading the snapshot
The prices were observed at 2026-10-15T21:00:05Z and retrieved at 21:42:48Z on the same day. [1] They describe that moment only and should not be read as current prices.
The sample shows 12 of 23 markets from this one Polymarket event. [1] The included markets are ordered by Yes price, highest first. Among the shown contracts, Nate Sheppard has the highest Yes price at 0.287, followed by Cam Cook at 0.111 and Bo Jackson at 0.0755. [1] The remaining shown Yes prices range from 0.0305 to 0.05. [1]
These are quoted snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The 11 omitted markets are not shown, so this sample does not describe the full field. Do not compare these figures with other events or platforms, because each contract has its own wording and closing terms.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not include the season's current rushing totals, trader counts, trading volume, or reasons for any price movement. It also does not confirm the status of games or the regular-season schedule after the snapshot. The outcome depends on how the season finishes, including any early conclusion or truncation, which the rules say would be determined from "available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games." [1]

Overview
This PredictPedia market is tied to the 2026 NCAA Football rushing yards leader. It resolves in favor of the player who finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing yards [1]. The contract is an event with many individual markets, one for each named player, so each market asks whether a specific player will be the leader. The contract includes tie-break rules. If players are tied on rushing yards, the market goes to the player with more rushing touchdowns during the regular season. If that is still tied, it goes to the player with the higher rushing yards per attempt. If a tie remains after those steps, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The contract also covers disruption. If the 2026 NCAA FBS season ends early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome is decided using available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games [1]. If the regular season is cancelled, is postponed past the cutoff stated in the rules, or it is unclear who led NCAA FBS in rushing yards in that window, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The rules set the cutoff at January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NCAA's football statistics pages. The rules also allow a consensus of credible reporting to be used [1]. The listed end time in the contract data is 2027-01-04T04:59:00Z [1]. That is a contract closing time, not an announced date for any event, and it is not the date the leader is confirmed. The sampled prices show a chance-style reading for several named players. For example, the sampled Yes price for Nate Sheppard was 0.209 and for Darius Taylor was 0.177 [1]. These are snapshots from the provider's saved event data. They are not executable quotes, verified probabilities, or indicators of who is likely to lead. The sample includes 12 of 23 markets in this event, ordered by highest Yes price, so the omitted markets should not be assumed to have lower prices.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single season result: which player finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing yards [1]. Because the rules specify tie-breakers, a cancellation rule, and a fallback to "Other," the market's outcome depends on the exact wording of those provisions as well as on the statistics. Users comparing prices should note that the contract resolves from NCAA official statistics, with credible reporting allowed as a secondary basis [1].

Frequently Asked Questions
What does this contract actually measure?
It measures which player finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing yards. Each named market asks whether that specific player will be the leader [1].
What happens if two players finish with the same rushing yards?
The market uses rushing touchdowns as the first tie-breaker. If still tied, it uses higher rushing yards per attempt. If a tie persists, the market resolves to "Other" [1].
What happens if the season is shortened or cancelled?
If the season ends early, is shortened, or is truncated, the outcome uses available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games. If the regular season is cancelled, postponed past January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the leader is unclear in that window, the market resolves to "Other" [1].
Is a price on this market the same as the chance a player will win?
