About This Event
In the upcoming Coupe de France match between CO Briochin SP and FC Rouen, originally scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): This market will resolve to "CO Briochin SP" if CO Briochin SP are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "FC Rouen" if FC Rouen are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve to "Neither". If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the game is canceled, does not start by Monday, November 16, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, this market will resolve to "Neither". The following abandonment rules apply only when this market's outcome was not already definitively determined under its rules before abandonment. If the game is abandoned, this market will resolve according to the official ruling of the governing body or event organizers on the abandoned game. If the result as played at the time of abandonment is declared to stand by Monday, November 16, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve based on the game as played. If the game is replayed or resumed from the point of abandonment and has an official result by Monday, November 16, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve based on the completed result. In any other case, including a result awarded that differs from the score as played, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Coupe de France (https://www.fff.fr/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve to "Neither".

What the contract measures
The saved event is a Polymarket listing for the Coupe de France match between CO Briochin SP and FC Rouen. The rules describe the match as "originally scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event)" [1]. That wording records the date when the first market was created. It does not confirm the match is still set for that date.
The three markets ask different questions. The first resolves Yes if CO Briochin SP score first, the second Yes if FC Rouen score first, and the third Yes if neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time [1]. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded [1]. The listed end time for all three is 2026-11-14T17:00:00.000Z [1].
The rules also set no-result provisions. If the game does not start by Monday, November 16, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves to "Neither" [1]. Because the three contracts share an event but use different wording, they should be read separately.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observation time is 2026-11-03T03:00:05.814Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-11-03T04:29:19.234Z [1]. These prices describe that snapshot only, not current trading.
The quoted prices were:
- CO Briochin SP to score first: Yes 0.485, No 0.515.
- FC Rouen to score first: Yes 0.485, No 0.515.
- Neither team to score first: Yes 0.480, No 0.520.
These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The saved data does not include volume, liquidity, or trader counts, so it cannot show how deep any market is or how many participants hold each view. The sample covers all three saved markets for this event, and the provider reports that the sample is not partial. The data does not establish that these three outcomes cover every real-world result.
Because the markets resolve on different wording, the small differences between prices should not be read as a pricing gap or an arbitrage signal without checking the rules and execution conditions.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not show whether the match has been rescheduled, played, or abandoned since the snapshot. It also does not confirm the current status of the event beyond "active" at the time of retrieval. The rules name official Coupe de France match information as the primary resolution source, with fallback sources listed [1]. No resolution outcome is available in the supplied evidence.

Saved Nov 3, 2026 UTCOverview
This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "CO Briochin SP vs. FC Rouen - First Team to Score," which concerns a Coupe de France match between the two clubs. The event describes the fixture as "upcoming" and "originally scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET" as of when the first market was created [1]. The phrase "originally scheduled" signals that the date was the planned kickoff at creation, not a confirmed or final schedule. The event contains three related contracts. One asks whether CO Briochin SP will score first, one asks whether FC Rouen will score first, and one asks whether neither team will score first [1]. Each contract is tied to the same match and the same listed end time, 2026-11-14T17:00:00.000Z [1]. Because the three contracts are linked, they are best read as one set of possible first-goal outcomes for a single fixture. The contract rules limit resolution to the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded [1]. A team wins the "first to score" contract only if it scores within that window. If neither team scores in that window, the market resolves to "Neither" [1]. The rules also address cancellation and abandonment. If the game is canceled, does not start by Monday, November 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned without an official result by then, the market resolves to "Neither" [1]. Where an abandoned game is handled differently, the rules refer to the official ruling of the governing body or event organizers, and outcomes that differ from the score as played resolve to "Neither" [1]. For data, the stated primary source is official match information from the Coupe de France, linked to the French Football Federation website. If final statistics are not published within two hours of the event's conclusion, the rules allow Flashscore, then Sofascore, then a consensus of credible reporting, in that order [1]. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves to "Neither" [1].
Historical Context
The Coupe de France is the main football cup competition in France, organized by the French Football Federation (FFF) and open to all clubs in French football, including clubs from the overseas departments and territories [2]. The Wikipedia page supplied for this entry covers the 2016–17 preliminary rounds, which were the qualifying competition deciding which teams entered the main competition from round 7. That season was described as the 100th season of the main cup competition [2]. This background describes the competition generally and does not describe the CO Briochin SP vs. FC Rouen fixture or its 2026 schedule.
Why It Matters
The contract measures which team, if either, scores first in one match, using only the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time [1]. It is a narrow question about the opening goal, so it does not track the final result, goals scored later, or the winner after extra time. The "Neither" contract covers the case where no goal is scored in that window, including through the no-result provisions described in the rules [1]. The prices shown for these contracts are market snapshots from a dated observation. They are not executable quotes, and they should not be read as verified probabilities of either team scoring first. Their values reflect the trading on the platform at the time of observation, and the event rules alone determine how each contract resolves [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-11-03 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Frequently Asked Questions
Does extra time count toward these contracts?
No. The market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, and extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded [1].
What happens if the match is not played on the scheduled date?
The rules state that if the game is canceled, does not start by Monday, November 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market resolves to "Neither" [1]. The fixture is described as originally scheduled for November 14, 2026 [1].
What happens if the match is abandoned after a goal has been scored?
If the outcome was already definitively determined under the market rules before abandonment, that outcome stands. Otherwise, the rules apply the official ruling of the governing body or event organizers, with specific conditions for whether the game as played, a completed replay, or a resumed match counts [1].
Where does the result come from?
The primary resolution source is official match information from the Coupe de France, linked to the French Football Federation website. Flashscore, Sofascore, and then a consensus of credible reporting may be used in order if official final statistics are not published within two hours of the event's conclusion [1].
Are the three contracts the same bet?
No. One contract covers CO Briochin SP scoring first, one covers FC Rouen scoring first, and one covers neither team scoring first within the 90-minute window [1]. They describe different outcomes of the same fixture.
