What the contract measures

This event is a Kalshi listing titled "Los Angeles R vs Washington: 1st Half / Fulltime Result," for a game originally scheduled for Nov 8, 2026 [1]. Each contract pays out only if a specific combination of first-half and full-game results occurs. The rules state that "both results have to be correct in order for the market to resolve Yes" [1]. A correct first-half result paired with an incorrect full-game result therefore resolves to No.

The rules also cover postponement. If the game is postponed but begins within 48 hours of its scheduled start, the market stays open and resolves on the official final result. If it has not started within 48 hours, the market resolves to a fair price [1]. Overtime is included in the full-game result [1].

Reading the snapshot

The provider observed these prices at 2026-11-03T21:00:06Z, and the application retrieved the source at 2026-11-04T06:09:42Z [1]. These are historical snapshots, not current quotes, and they are not executable prices.

The sample includes nine Kalshi markets, all of them listed for this event, with no partial sampling flagged [1]. Ordered by Yes price, the highest is "Los Angeles R wins 1st Half / Los Angeles R wins game" at 0.23 Yes and 0.77 No [1]. Next is "Washington wins 1st Half / Washington wins game" at 0.115 Yes [1]. The lowest Yes prices, 0.005, appear on three tie-related combinations [1].

Each market has the same listed end date, 2026-11-10T18:00:00.000Z [1]. This is a listed close time, not a resolution time, and the source does not supply a separate listed end time. The rules also contain an incomplete closing sentence ("This market will close and expire after X Y is Z") [1], so the close conditions are not fully clear from this excerpt.

What remains uncertain

The source provides only Kalshi data, so no cross-platform comparison is possible here. Each contract is a different outcome, so their prices should not be averaged or treated as a single probability field. The sample warning states that providing these nine markets "does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome" [1]. Low prices on the listed outcomes do not show that omitted outcomes are less likely.

The evidence does not explain why prices are where they are, how many traders hold positions, or how the market has performed historically. Volume is not supplied in a way that shows liquidity.

Overview

This is a Kalshi event on a scheduled professional football game between Los Angeles R and Washington, listed for November 8, 2026 [1]. The event is titled "Los Angeles R vs Washington: 1st Half / Fulltime Result," and each contract pairs a first-half outcome with a full-game outcome [1]. The event is categorized under Sports. The rules state that a contract resolves Yes only when both parts of its named combination are correct [1]. The full-game portion includes overtime [1]. If either the first-half result or the full-game result is incorrect, the contract resolves No [1]. The saved event contains nine contracts. They cover each first-half and full-game combination, including ties in either part, such as Los Angeles R winning the first half while Washington wins the game [1]. Each contract shows a Yes price and a No price in the snapshot. These prices are single observations, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and they do not indicate how likely any result is. The event data was observed on November 3, 2026 at 21:00 UTC [1]. The market records list an end date of November 10, 2026 at 18:00 UTC, but the rule text does not explain how that date relates to the game, so it should be read as a listed field rather than a confirmed resolution date [1].

Why It Matters

The contract measures a combined result. It is not a simple prediction of the game winner. A contract such as Washington winning the first half while Los Angeles R wins the game requires both the first-half leader and the final winner to match that specific pairing [1]. Because the rules name a specific pairing for each contract, the nine contracts in this event divide the possible combinations between them, so each contract tracks a different outcome of the same game [1]. Traders who compare contracts within the event are therefore comparing different outcomes, not alternative prices for one outcome.

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-11-03 at 21:00 UTC. It contains listings from Kalshi. Frequently Asked Questions

What must happen for a contract to resolve Yes?

Both parts of the contract's named combination must be correct. If either the first-half result or the full-game result is incorrect, the contract resolves No [1].

What happens if the game is postponed?

If the game is postponed but begins within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start time, the market stays open and resolves based on the official final result. If the game has not started within 48 hours, the rules say the market will resolve to a fair price [1].

Does the full-game result include overtime?

Yes. The rules state that the full-game result includes overtime [1].

Is this event affiliated with the league?

No. The source states that Kalshi is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the Governing League [1].

Does a difference in price between two contracts in this event show an opportunity?

Not by itself. Each contract in the event resolves on a different combination of first-half and full-game results [1], so a price difference between them does not show that one is mispriced.
