About This Event
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Passion Academy and ReThink in the United21 Group A, initially scheduled for May 28 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Passion Academy" if Passion Academy win the match against ReThink. This market will resolve to "ReThink" if ReThink win the match against Passion Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Overview
PredictPedia tracks a Counter-Strike match contract titled "Counter-Strike: Passion Academy vs ReThink (BO3) - United21 Group A" [1]. The contract covers a best-of-three match between Passion Academy and ReThink in the United21 Group A competition. The source says the match was "initially scheduled for May 28 at 4:00AM ET" [1]. That date appears in the contract description, so it describes the original schedule and is not evidence of when the match was actually played. The winner contract resolves to Passion Academy if Passion Academy wins the match, and to ReThink if ReThink wins [1]. The same event page also lists three separate markets asking whether total kills on Map 1, Map 2, and Map 3 will be odd or even, each with two outcomes labeled Odd and Even. The saved event lists an end time of 2026-06-05 03:59 UTC, which is earlier than the observation time of 2026-10-16 03:00 UTC. The saved status is active, but the available evidence does not show a final result, whether the match was played, or how the kill-count markets were settled. At the observation time, each kill-count market showed a price of 0.5 for both Odd and Even. These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes, and they should not be read as verified probabilities of either outcome.
Why It Matters
The match contract measures which team wins the scheduled best-of-three Counter-Strike match. The rules also set several fallback outcomes. If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, the contract resolves 50-50 [1]. The contract names HLTV as the resolution source, with a consensus of credible reporting, including video evidence, as a fallback if final results are not published within 2 hours after the event concludes [1]. The kill-count markets ask a different question about each map, and the saved snapshot shows only their prices and listed end time.
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the match winner contract resolve?
It resolves to the team that wins the match. If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner, it resolves 50-50 [1].
What source is used to determine the result?
The contract names official information from hltv.org as the resolution source. If hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead, including video evidence [1].
What happens if a team forfeits or withdraws?
If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, the team that wins is the resolution. If a team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically, the contract resolves 50-50 [1].
How are team name differences handled?
Minor differences such as recognizable abbreviations, sponsor tags, academy designations, regional identifiers, and formatting differences are treated as referring to the same team when that team can be clearly and uniquely identified in the competition. If a name cannot be unambiguously matched, the contract resolves 50-50 [1].
What do the Odd and Even kill-count markets measure?
The supplied evidence does not define how total kills are counted or how these maps' outcomes would be determined, so the exact rule cannot be explained from the available sources. The saved snapshot shows only the two outcome labels and their prices.
