About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving touchdowns DK Metcalf records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If DK Metcalf does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns DK Metcalf recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The Polymarket event asks how many receiving touchdowns DK Metcalf records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Each threshold is a separate contract. The rules say the market "will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving touchdowns DK Metcalf records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number" [1]. If Metcalf does not play in the regular season "for any reason," the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or cannot be determined, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is "official information from the NFL," though "a consensus of credible reporting may also be used" [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these markets at 2026-10-16T06:00:05.833Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-16T06:29:22.562Z [1]. These values describe that snapshot only. They are not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The Yes prices were 0.9215 for 1.5 or more, 0.735 for 3.5 or more, 0.72 for 5.5 or more, 0.27 for 7.5 or more, and 0.139 for 9.5 or more [1].
The contracts do not share one closing time. The 1.5 and 3.5 thresholds list an end date of 2027-01-12T23:59:00.000Z, while the 5.5, 7.5, and 9.5 thresholds list 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. The evidence does not explain this difference, so readers should compare contracts only with their wording and close times in view. The 3.5 and 5.5 prices are close, but they are different thresholds with different listed close times, so they should not be read as a single measure.
The sample includes all five saved markets for this event, and coverage is marked as not partial [1]. The saved list is ordered by Yes price, so it is not a ranking across platforms. Only one provider event is included.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not say why prices are at these levels. It also does not report trading volume, liquidity, or the number of traders. Volume is not liquidity, and a single snapshot does not show how prices will change. The sample warning states that the saved data "does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome" [1], so the set of thresholds shown should not be treated as complete. No game results or season outcomes appear in the evidence, so the final resolution remains unknown.

Overview
This contract concerns the number of receiving touchdowns DK Metcalf records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each listed threshold is a separate yes or no question. The market resolves Yes if Metcalf's count equals or exceeds the number in its title, and No otherwise [1]. The rules also cover several edge cases. If Metcalf does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves No [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or leaves the count undeterminable for that period, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NFL, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The saved event contains five markets, at thresholds of 1.5, 3.5, 5.5, 7.5 and 9.5 or more receiving touchdowns [1]. The listed end times are January 12, 2027 for the two lower thresholds and January 27, 2027 at 04:59 UTC for the three higher ones [1]. These are contract-listed end times, not confirmed game dates or announced event dates. They describe when the market is set to close, not when the final count will be known or the market will be settled. The sample includes all saved markets for this event, but the provider does not claim that these outcomes cover every possible result.
Historical Context
According to the Wikipedia entry for Metcalf, he was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks, spent six seasons with that team, and was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025 [2]. The same entry notes one All-Pro selection and two Pro Bowl selections [2]. A separate Wikipedia entry describes Super Bowl LX, played on February 8, 2026, in which the Seahawks defeated the Patriots 29-13 [3]. That entry does not describe Metcalf's role in the game, so it is background on the NFL season rather than on this player's output.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single season statistic: how many receiving touchdowns Metcalf records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Because each market uses a different threshold, the event asks several separate questions about the same count, from at least 1.5 to at least 9.5 touchdowns [1]. The resolution rules matter as much as the threshold. They determine how injuries, a shortened season, a cancelled season, or an undeterminable count would be settled, and they name the NFL as the primary resolution source [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
