About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving yards Tetairoa McMillan records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Tetairoa McMillan does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving yards Tetairoa McMillan recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The market set asks whether Tetairoa McMillan will record at or above several receiving-yard thresholds in the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Each contract resolves "Yes" if the yards "equals or exceeds the listed number" and "No" otherwise [1]. If McMillan does not play in the regular season for any reason, the rules say the market resolves "No" [1].
The rules also cover disruption. If the season ends early, the outcome is decided "using available official data for completed games." If the season is cancelled, or is postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the yardage cannot be determined, the market resolves "50-50" [1]. The resolution source is "official information from the NFL," though "a consensus of credible reporting may also be used" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1], which matches the 11:59 PM ET cutoff on January 26, 2027.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observation time is 2026-10-16T06:00:05.833Z, and the data was retrieved at 06:32:27 UTC the same day [1]. These prices describe that moment only and may not reflect current trading.
The saved Yes prices by threshold were:
- 549.5+ yards: 0.905 Yes, 0.095 No
- 749.5+ yards: 0.855 Yes, 0.145 No
- 949.5+ yards: 0.695 Yes, 0.305 No
- 1,149.5+ yards: 0.49 Yes, 0.51 No
- 1,349.5+ yards: 0.115 Yes, 0.885 No
Each threshold is a separate contract with its own Yes and No prices. The thresholds are not a single distribution, so the Yes prices should not be summed or compared as if they were mutually exclusive shares of one outcome. These are quoted snapshots, not executable prices, and they are not verified probabilities. The evidence contains no volume or liquidity figures, so nothing can be said about depth or trading activity.
What remains uncertain
The sample is complete for this single provider event: all five saved markets are included and the sample is not marked partial [1]. The source also notes that this "does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome" [1]. No other platform's contracts are included, so no cross-platform comparison is possible.
The evidence does not explain why any price is where it is, and it does not show how many traders hold each view. Differences in price between thresholds reflect the stated contract levels, not a judgment about the outcome. The evidence also does not include any news about McMillan's status, so the "No" rule for non-participation cannot be evaluated against current information.

Overview
This market is one of five thresholds in a Polymarket event on the receiving yards of Tetairoa McMillan during the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each contract asks whether his regular-season receiving total will equal or exceed a listed number. The thresholds in this event are 549.5, 749.5, 949.5, 1,149.5 and 1,349.5 yards, and each one is a separate yes-or-no contract [1]. The event is tied to a single player and a single season, so the contracts are closely related but each one settles on its own threshold. The contract rules are specific. If McMillan does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the contract resolves to No [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated or ends early, the outcome is determined from official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving yards he recorded in that window, the contract resolves to 50-50 [1]. The stated resolution source is official NFL information, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The event lists an end time of January 27, 2027 at 04:59 UTC [1]. That date appears in the contract rules as the listed end time. It is not an announced event date, and it does not show when the contract will settle in practice. The scheduled end of the regular season is a different date. The Wikipedia page for the 2026 NFL season states that the regular season began on September 9, 2026 and will end on January 10, 2027 [3]. The prices shown with these contracts are snapshots taken at the observation time recorded for this article, not executable quotes or verified probabilities [1]. A price reflects the market at the moment of observation and can change as trading continues.
Historical Context
Wikipedia reports that McMillan played college football for the Arizona Wildcats and earned Polynesian College Football Player of the Year honors in 2024 [2]. It also states that the Panthers selected him eighth overall in the 2025 NFL draft and that he was named Offensive Rookie of the Year [2]. This background explains his professional profile but does not describe his 2026 season performance, which this article does not cover.
Why It Matters
The contract measures one number: McMillan's total receiving yards across the 2026-27 NFL regular season, compared against each listed threshold [1]. Because the outcome depends on official season data, the contract's meaning rests on how the season is completed and recorded. The rules address several edge cases, including a player who does not play at all, a truncated season and a cancelled or indeterminate season, so readers should check those clauses before relying on any single threshold [1]. The Wikipedia season page gives the scheduled regular season dates, which provide context for when the measured games are expected to occur [3].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
