About This Event
This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Chicago Bears win the season series, this market will resolve to “Bears”. If the Minnesota Vikings win the season series, this market will resolve to “Vikings”. If the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The Polymarket event asks how the season series between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will end during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The rules say the market "will resolve to "Bears"" if the Bears win the series, "Vikings" if the Vikings win it, and "tie" if the two teams tie [1]. If a scheduled game is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise produces no official result, the series is decided using only completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games are completed, or the result cannot be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The primary resolution source is the NFL, and a consensus of credible reporting is also used [1].
The listed end time is 2027-01-12T23:59:00.000Z [1]. This is earlier than the January 26, 2027 confirmation date in the rules. The listed close time and the rules' resolution language should be read separately, since they are not the same date.
Reading the snapshot
The saved record was observed at 2026-10-16T03:00:06.094Z and retrieved at 2026-10-16T05:02:30.043Z [1]. It is a past snapshot, not a live view. It contains two active contracts from the same event. The Vikings contract shows Yes at 0.555 and No at 0.445. The tie contract shows Yes at 0.335 and No at 0.665 [1]. The saved sample has no separate Bears-win contract, so this summary provides no price for that outcome.
These are snapshot prices, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The source does not explain why the prices stand where they do, and this summary does not offer a reason.
The sample is complete for this event: two of two saved markets are included, and it is not marked as partial [1]. The source notes that this does not establish that the provider lists every possible real-world outcome [1]. Only one event appears, so no cross-platform comparison is possible.
What remains uncertain
The snapshot does not show how prices will change, whether the full season will be played, or how the rules would apply to disputed results beyond the consensus language quoted. The Vikings and tie contracts have different wording and different questions, so their prices should not be combined or treated as an arbitrage opportunity.

Overview
This PredictPedia contract is tied to the season series between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The event has two saved contracts. One asks whether the Vikings will win the season series, and the other asks whether the series will end in a tie [1]. The season series is decided by the games between the two teams in that regular season. If the Bears win the series, the event resolves to Bears. If the Vikings win it, the event resolves to Vikings. If the two teams tie, it resolves to tie [1]. The rules also cover disrupted seasons. If any scheduled game between the two teams is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise fails to produce an official result, the series is decided only by the completed games. This applies even if the season is shortened, truncated, or ended early [1]. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the series result cannot be confirmed by January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The January 26, 2027 date is a resolution rule and does not indicate an announced event date. The primary resolution source is information from the NFL, and the rules also allow a consensus of credible reporting to be used [1]. The listed end time for the contracts is January 12, 2027 at 23:59 UTC, and the provider lists the event as active [1]. These are rule and listing dates. They are not confirmed schedule information for the games. The Vikings' 2026 season is the context for the matchup. The team's 2026 season is its 66th in the NFL, and the team is under head coach Kevin O'Connell and new general manager Nolan Teasley [2]. The Vikings went 9-8 the previous season and will aim to return to the playoffs after a one-year absence [2]. Those statements describe planned goals and the team's prior season. They do not indicate how the season series will turn out.
Historical Context
The supplied background on the Vikings describes the franchise's 66th NFL season in 2026, its 22nd season under owner Zygi Wilf, and its 11th season at U.S. Bank Stadium [2]. The team's previous season ended at 9-8, and the Vikings have not won the NFC North in three years [2]. The supplied evidence does not include the history of head-to-head results between the Bears and Vikings, so this article does not describe past season series outcomes.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single season-level result between two teams: whether one team wins the season series, or whether the series ends in a tie [1]. Because the outcome depends on official results from the 2026-27 regular season, the contract is linked to the games being played and officially recorded. The cancellation and 50-50 rules mean the contract also depends on whether the season is completed and whether the result can be confirmed by the stated deadline [1]. The resolution source gives the NFL priority, with credible reporting used for consensus where needed [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
