About This Event
This market will resolve to the quarterback that finishes Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring QB under the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 8 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 8, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring QB in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past November 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 8 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).

What the contract measures
The event asks which quarterback will be the highest-scoring QB in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Scoring follows the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports, and the resolution source is official Week 8 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports [1]. Only games the NFL designates as Week 8 count [1]. Each named contract asks whether that player will be the leader, and its Yes and No outcomes are the two sides of that question [1].
Ties go to the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically [1]. If the leader is not a listed player, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. It also resolves to "Other" if Week 8 is cancelled, postponed past November 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if a leader cannot be determined within that timeframe [1]. That November 18 date is a contract rule, not an announced game date, and the evidence does not show the Week 8 schedule.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-27T15:00:05.980Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-27T16:11:34.609Z [1]. These are snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The listed end time is 2026-11-03T05:59:00.000Z, and the event status was active when saved [1].
The sample covers 12 of 34 markets in this single Polymarket event [1]. Every included market shows Yes at 0.5 and No at 0.5 [1]. Because the sample is partial, the 22 omitted markets have no prices in this record, so nothing can be inferred about their likelihood. The selection rule ranks markets by Yes price and then by volume, but every included price is identical, so the evidence shows no meaningful order among the displayed names. Volume is not liquidity or a count of traders, and the record does not provide either measure for interpretation.
Only one platform appears in the evidence, so no cross-platform comparison applies.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not show the Week 8 schedule, injuries, game results, or any reason the prices sit at 0.5. It also does not show how the market has moved since the observation time. The record cannot establish which quarterback will lead or whether the event will resolve to "Other." Readers should check the provider's live rules and prices before relying on any figure.

Saved Oct 27, 2026 UTCOverview
This contract belongs to a Polymarket event titled Fantasy Football: 2026-27 Week 8 QB Points Leader [1]. The event resolves to the quarterback who finishes Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring QB under the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports [1]. Only games the NFL designates as Week 8 of that season count [1]. In the saved record, each named quarterback has its own yes or no market within the same event. For example, one market asks whether Josh Allen will be the highest-scoring QB in Week 8, and another asks the same about Drake Maye [1]. Each market is a separate contract, so a yes or no price on one player does not directly describe the others. The event sets out several special cases. If two or more players tie for the most fantasy points in Week 8, the market resolves in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically [1]. If the top-scoring QB is not one of the listed players, the market resolves to Other [1]. The same applies if Week 8 is cancelled, if it is postponed past November 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if a leader cannot be determined within that timeframe [1]. The resolution source is official Week 8 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports [1]. The saved record was observed at 15:00 UTC on October 27, 2026, and retrieved at 16:11 UTC the same day. These are past observation and retrieval times, not a live reading. The event lists an end time of November 3, 2026, 05:59 UTC [1]. That listed time is a provider closing time, and the rules do not state when the result will be known. The date of November 18, 2026 appears only as a cutoff within the postponement rule, not as an announced event date [1].
Historical Context
The 2026 NFL season is the 107th season of the National Football League. Its regular season began on September 9, 2026, and is scheduled to end on January 10, 2027 [2]. The Week 8 contract is tied to this season's regular-season schedule, so its rules refer to games the NFL designates as Week 8 [1][2].
Why It Matters
The contract measures which listed quarterback will record the highest fantasy points in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season, using ESPN default scoring as the official measure [1]. Because the resolution depends on a single week of official statistics, the rules on ties, unlisted players, and cancelled or delayed games determine the outcome as much as the on-field results do [1]. Anyone reading a price should note that it is a snapshot from the observation time and not a verified probability of any result [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-27 at 15:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
