About This Event

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving touchdowns Justin Jefferson records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Justin Jefferson does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns Justin Jefferson recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures

The supplied evidence covers four Polymarket contracts under one event, "Pro Football: Justin Jefferson 2026-27 Regular Season Receiving Touchdowns." Each asks whether Justin Jefferson will record at least a stated number of receiving touchdowns in the 2026-27 NFL regular season: 4.5+, 6.5+, 8.5+, or 10.5+ [1]. The rules say a market resolves "Yes" if the count "equals or exceeds the listed number," and "No" otherwise [1].

The rules also set edge cases. If Jefferson does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves "No" [1]. If the season is shortened or ends early, the outcome is determined from official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, or postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the count cannot be determined, the market resolves "50-50" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. That is a closing field in the listing, not a scheduled event date.

Reading the snapshot

The provider observation time is 2026-10-16T03:00:06.094Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-16T05:24:43.144Z [1]. These prices describe that observation only. They are not live quotes and may have changed since.

At observation, the Yes prices were 0.915 for 4.5+, 0.65 for 6.5+, 0.695 for 8.5+, and 0.21 for 10.5+ [1]. The 8.5+ contract (0.695) was priced above the 6.5+ contract (0.65). Because these are separate contracts with different thresholds, that gap is a point to check against the rules and the saved data, not evidence of an opportunity. The snapshot prices are not verified probabilities, and volume is not provided here as a measure of liquidity or trader count.

The four contracts come from the same event and the same provider. Their prices should not be combined into a single figure or compared with other platforms' contracts without matching wording and close times.

What remains uncertain

The coverage record reports four of four markets included, with no partial sample [1]. The selection note says all saved markets for this event are included, but that does not establish that the provider lists every possible outcome [1]. The evidence contains only one source, and it does not explain any price movement, news, or trader views. Whether the season is completed, shortened, or cancelled remains unknown from this snapshot.

Overview

This contract is a Polymarket event about how many regular season receiving touchdowns Justin Jefferson records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. Each market asks whether his total will equal or exceed a listed threshold. The event contains four markets, with thresholds of 4.5, 6.5, 8.5, and 10.5 touchdowns [1]. A Yes outcome means the count meets or exceeds that number, and a No outcome means it does not [1]. The rules define a receiving touchdown as a play in which a player catches the ball in the field of play and advances it into the end zone, or catches it while already within the end zone boundaries [3]. The contract's counting window is the 2026-27 NFL regular season, so touchdowns in other games or competitions are not part of the count [1]. The contract also lists several special cases. If Jefferson does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the market resolves No [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or the number of touchdowns cannot be determined within that timeframe, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27 04:59 UTC [1]. The resolution source is official NFL information, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. Jefferson is an American professional football wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League [2].

Historical Context

Jefferson played college football for the LSU Tigers, where he won the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship as a junior, before the Vikings drafted him in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft [2]. The receiving touchdown statistic tracked by this contract is defined in general football terms, and the NFL keeps annual leader lists for the category [3]. The supplied sources do not provide Jefferson's career receiving touchdown totals, so this article does not describe his past production.

Why It Matters

The contract converts a single player's season output into a set of yes or no questions at different thresholds. Its rules make clear that the count covers only the 2026-27 NFL regular season and depends on whether Jefferson plays in it [1]. The special cases for a shortened season or an undeterminable count mean the outcome can differ from a simple tally of touchdowns [1]. The saved snapshot shows Yes prices of 0.915 for 4.5 or more, 0.65 for 6.5 or more, 0.695 for 8.5 or more, and 0.21 for 10.5 or more [1]. These prices are snapshots from the provider and are not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The 8.5 threshold has a higher Yes price than the 6.5 threshold, which the reader should keep in mind when comparing the markets. Each market is a separate contract, so differences between their prices do not on their own indicate an opportunity.
