About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving touchdowns Terry McLaurin records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Terry McLaurin does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns Terry McLaurin recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

What the contract measures
This event contains five Polymarket contracts on the number of receiving touchdowns Terry McLaurin records in the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Each asks whether his total equals or exceeds a listed threshold: 1.5, 3.5, 5.5, 7.5, or 9.5 [1]. A "Yes" resolution requires the count to meet that threshold, and a "No" resolution means it does not [1].
The rules also set several edge cases. If McLaurin does not play in the regular season for any reason, the market resolves "No" [1]. If the season is shortened or ends early, the outcome is determined from available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, or is postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the count cannot be determined, the market resolves "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official NFL information, though a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The listed end time for all five contracts is 2027-01-27 04:59 UTC [1]. That timestamp is a closing time under the contract, not an announced event date.
Reading the snapshot
The prices were observed at 03:00 UTC on October 16, 2026, and retrieved at 05:15 UTC the same day [1]. They describe that moment only and are not live quotes. The Yes prices were 0.635 for 3.5 or more, 0.535 for 1.5 or more, 0.375 for 5.5 or more, 0.12 for 7.5 or more, and 0.0155 for 9.5 or more [1]. Each contract's No price is the complement of its Yes price in the snapshot.
All five markets from this provider event are included, and the sample is not marked partial [1]. Even so, the saved data does not establish that every possible real-world outcome is listed [1]. Because the thresholds are different contracts, their prices should be read separately rather than combined into a single estimate. A gap between two contracts reflects different thresholds and does not by itself indicate an arbitrage opportunity.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why any price stood where it did, and it does not show how many traders are involved or how much volume the contracts have. It also does not describe McLaurin's roster status, injuries, or any recent reporting. The snapshot cannot tell a reader how prices will move before the listed close, and it does not indicate how accurately prediction markets have forecast outcomes like this. Readers comparing this market with contracts on other platforms should check that the wording, thresholds, and close times match before comparing prices.

Overview
This contract concerns the number of receiving touchdowns that Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The provider's rules state that a market resolves to "Yes" if his receiving touchdown total equals or exceeds the listed number, and to "No" otherwise [1]. The event groups several threshold contracts on the same underlying question, each asking whether he reaches a different count, such as 1.5 or more, 3.5 or more, or 5.5 or more touchdowns [1]. Each threshold is a separate contract, so they should be read individually rather than as parts of one distribution. The rules set several special cases. If McLaurin does not play in the 2026-27 regular season for any reason, the market resolves to "No" [1]. If the season is shortened, truncated, or ends early, the outcome is based on available official data for completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many touchdowns he recorded in that window, the market resolves to "50-50" [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the NFL, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The listed end time for the event is 2027-01-27 at 04:59 UTC [1]. That date is a contract rule, not an announced event date. The background on the player is limited to general reference material. McLaurin is described as an American professional football wide receiver for the Washington Commanders, who played college football at Ohio State and was selected by Washington in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft [2]. The sources supplied do not provide his 2025 or 2026 statistics, injury status, or playing-time expectations, so this article does not assess his likely touchdown output.
Historical Context
Washington's 2024 season was the Commanders' 93rd in the NFL and the first under general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn. The team improved from a 4-13 record in 2023 to 12-5 in 2024, its first winning regular season since 2016 [3]. McLaurin earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2024 and set a Commanders record for most touchdown catches in a season with 13 [2]. These facts describe past seasons only and do not indicate how he will perform in the 2026-27 regular season.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single player statistic, regular season receiving touchdowns, over a defined window that ends with the 2026-27 regular season [1]. Because each threshold is a separate yes or no question, the set shows how the market prices different touchdown counts for the same player [1]. The rules also make clear how unusual outcomes are handled, including non-participation, a shortened season, and a cancelled or unresolvable season [1]. Understanding these rules is necessary before interpreting any price, since the resolution logic can differ from a simple count of touchdowns.
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a Yes outcome on one of these contracts require?
A Yes outcome requires McLaurin's receiving touchdown total in the 2026-27 NFL regular season to equal or exceed the number listed in that contract [1].
What happens if McLaurin does not play in the 2026-27 regular season?
The market resolves to "No" if he does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason [1].
What is the 50-50 resolution?
The market resolves to "50-50" if the regular season is cancelled, is postponed after January 26, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving touchdowns McLaurin recorded in that timeframe [1].
Who determines the outcome?
The resolution source is official information from the NFL, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1].
Do the threshold contracts add up to a probability distribution?
Each threshold is a separate contract asking whether McLaurin reaches a different count [1]. The provider's rules do not describe how the contracts relate to one another, so they should not be combined into a single distribution.
