Will Orit Farkash Hacohen win the first election for Speaker of the Knesset after the Oct 27, 2026 Knesset election?
If Orit Farkash Hacohen wins the first election for Speaker of the Knesset after the Oct 27, 2026 Knesset election, then the market resolves to Yes. Secondary rules: The first election for Speaker of the Knesset after the Oct 27, 2026 Knesset election is the first vote in which the Knesset elected on Oct 27, 2026 elects a Speaker, including an interim or temporary Speaker or the re-election of the outgoing Speaker; a later replacement does not change the outcome. The outgoing Speaker continuing without such a vote, a Deputy Speaker, and a member presiding or acting as Speaker do not count. If that Knesset does not elect a Speaker before Oct 27, 2027, including because it is dissolved first, every market resolves to No. This market is eligible for accelerated resolution by a consensus of media calls. See full rules for details. Early close condition: This market will close and expire early if the election winner is officially declared or certified.
