About This Event

This market will resolve according to the crypto asset with the best percentage performance for the specified week among the listed assets. If all listed assets decline for the week, the asset with the smallest decline is the best performer. If two or more listed assets are exactly tied for the best percentage performance, this market will resolve according to the tied asset whose listed name comes first in alphabetical order. Exactly one outcome in this market will resolve to "Yes". The percentage performance for each asset is the finalized "CHANGE" value displayed for its Binance 1-week candle beginning at 12:00 AM UTC on the specified date. Values will be used exactly as published, without rounding; Binance reports "CHANGE" to 2 decimal places. Because HYPE does not have a Binance spot listing, Hyperliquid is measured using the Binance HYPEUSDT perpetual futures contract, with "Last Price" candles selected. A 1-week candle must be finalized before it is considered for this market (namely, once the next 1-week candle is published, the previous one is finalized). An asset for which no finalized 1-week candle is published for the specified week — including due to a delisting or suspension of its listed trading pair — will not be considered for resolution. No substitute pair or source will be used. This market will resolve once the specified week's candles are finalized. If any listed asset's candle is unfinalized at that time, this market will resolve according to the finalized candles published no later than the end of the second calendar day (ET) after the end of the specified week. In case of obvious data integrity issues (i.e., erroneous data), the market may remain open until the end of the third calendar day (ET) after such data is first released to allow for corrections; this applies only to clerical or similar errors, not to Binance differing from other sources. This period may extend past the resolution deadline above. The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the following trading pairs, with the chart settings on "1W" and "Candles" selected on the top bar: Bitcoin: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT BNB: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BNB_USDT Dogecoin: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/DOGE_USDT Ethereum: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT Hyperliquid: https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT Solana: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SOL_USDT XRP: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XRP_USDT Zcash: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ZEC_USDT Please note that this market is about the percentage performance according to the Binance trading pairs listed above, not according to any other sources, exchanges, or trading pairs.

What the contract measures

The supplied event, "Best performing coin: week of November 9?", asks which listed crypto asset will have the best percentage performance for its specified week. Each of the eight markets is a Yes or No contract on one asset: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, BNB, Zcash, and Hyperliquid [1]. Exactly one outcome resolves to "Yes" [1].

The rules tie resolution to Binance. Performance is the finalized "CHANGE" value for each asset's Binance 1-week candle beginning at 12:00 AM UTC on the specified date, used without rounding [1]. Hyperliquid is measured through the Binance HYPEUSDT perpetual futures contract with "Last Price" candles, because HYPE has no Binance spot listing [1]. If an asset has no finalized candle, it is excluded, and no substitute source is used [1]. If every asset declines, the smallest decline wins. Ties go to the name that comes first alphabetically [1].

Timing matters. The rules allow resolution once the week's candles are finalized, or by the end of the second calendar day (ET) after the week ends. Clerical data errors can extend the window by one more day [1]. The listed end time is 2026-11-16T00:00:00.000Z [1]. That is a listed close time, not a resolution result.

Reading the snapshot

The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-26T09:00:06.399Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-26T10:14:45.416Z [1]. Each price is a snapshot, not an executable quote or a verified probability.

Seven markets show a Yes price of 0.50 and a No price of 0.50 [1]. Hyperliquid shows Yes at 0.495 and No at 0.505 [1]. The ordering of the snapshot therefore places Hyperliquid slightly below the others, but the difference is small and should not be read as a forecast of relative performance.

The Yes prices across the eight markets sum to 3.995, not 1, even though exactly one outcome will resolve Yes [1]. This is a reason to treat the prices as quoted levels rather than calibrated probabilities. The evidence does not explain this total.

The sample covers all eight saved markets for this event, with no partial sample [1]. The provider's selection note says this does not establish that every possible real-world outcome is listed [1]. Any comparison should stay within this single event and this single contract wording. No other platform or event is included here.

What remains uncertain

The evidence does not show any price movement history, trading volume in this sample, or the number of traders behind these quotes. It also does not explain why the prices sit where they do. Whether any asset will outperform in the specified week cannot be determined from this snapshot. Readers should check the finalized Binance candles and the resolution status once they are published.

Overview

This entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Best performing coin: week of November 9?" [1]. Each contract in the event asks whether one listed crypto asset will be the best performer for a specified week. The event lists eight assets: Bitcoin, BNB, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Hyperliquid, Solana, XRP and Zcash [1]. The rules say the market resolves to the asset with the best percentage performance for that week, and exactly one outcome resolves to "Yes" [1]. Performance is measured with Binance data, not with other exchanges or price feeds. For each asset, the provider uses the finalized "CHANGE" value shown for the Binance one-week candle that begins at 12:00 AM UTC on the specified date. Binance reports this value to two decimal places, and the provider uses it exactly as published, without further rounding [1]. Because Hyperliquid has no Binance spot listing, its performance is measured using the Binance HYPEUSDT perpetual futures contract with "Last Price" candles [1]. The saved market snapshot in this entry was observed at 09:00 UTC on October 26, 2026 [1]. At that time, seven of the eight Yes and No contracts were priced at 0.50 each, while the Hyperliquid contract showed Yes at 0.495 and No at 0.505 [1]. These are recorded snapshot prices. They are not executable quotes, and they are not verified probabilities. The differences between contracts should not be read as an opportunity by themselves.

Why It Matters

The contract measures which listed asset posts the strongest percentage change over one specified week, as recorded on Binance. Because the winner is set by a single exchange's finalized candle data, the rules define the trading pairs, the candle settings and the timing precisely [1]. The listed end time is 2026-11-16 00:00 UTC [1]. That date is a contract rule, not an announced event, and the provider's end time is distinct from the time at which a given candle is finalized and the market actually resolves [1].

Snapshot context

The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-26 at 09:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. Frequently Asked Questions

How is the winning asset chosen?

The asset with the best percentage performance for the specified week is the winner, using the finalized Binance one-week candle values as published [1]. Exactly one outcome resolves to "Yes" [1].

What happens if every listed asset declines during the week?

The asset with the smallest decline is treated as the best performer [1].

How are ties handled?

If two or more assets are exactly tied, the market resolves to the tied asset whose listed name comes first in alphabetical order [1].

Why is Hyperliquid measured differently from the other assets?

Hyperliquid does not have a Binance spot listing, so the provider uses the Binance HYPEUSDT perpetual futures contract with "Last Price" candles [1].

What happens if an asset has no finalized candle for the week?

An asset with no finalized one-week candle, including because of a delisting or suspension of its trading pair, is not considered for resolution. No substitute pair or source is used [1].

When does the market resolve?

It resolves once the specified week's candles are finalized. If any listed asset's candle is still unfinalized at that time, the market resolves using the finalized candles published no later than the end of the second calendar day (ET) after the specified week [1]. If there are obvious clerical data errors, the market may stay open until the end of the third calendar day (ET) after the data is first released, and this period may extend past the resolution deadline [1].
