About This Event
In the upcoming match between SS Lazio and Cagliari Calcio, scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "SS Lazio" if SS Lazio are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Cagliari Calcio" if Cagliari Calcio are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

What the contract measures
This event contains three Polymarket contracts about the second half of the SS Lazio vs. Cagliari Calcio match, scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET according to the contract rules [1]. The contracts are not interchangeable. One resolves to "SS Lazio" if Lazio are the first to score in the second half, one resolves to "Cagliari Calcio" if Cagliari are first, and one resolves to "Neither" if no team scores in the second half [1]. The rules count second-half regular play plus second-half stoppage time, and exclude first-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs [1].
The rules also set fallback sources and timing. If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours, Flashscore may be used, then Sofascore, then a consensus of credible reporting. If no acceptable data exists within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market resolves 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable [1]. A postponed game keeps the market open until completion, and a canceled game with no make-up resolves to "Neither" [1]. The listed end time is 2026-11-01T14:00:00.000Z [1].
Reading the snapshot
The saved snapshot was observed at 2026-10-24T21:00:06.013Z and retrieved at 2026-10-24T22:56:46.938Z [1]. It describes prices at the observation time, not current prices. Each of the three contracts shows a Yes price of 0.475 and a No price of 0.525 [1]. These are snapshot values, not executable quotes or verified probabilities.
Because the three contracts cover different outcomes, their prices should not be averaged or compared as a single distribution. The equal Yes prices do not indicate that the outcomes are equally likely, and differing prices between platforms or contracts do not establish an arbitrage opportunity. The snapshot does not include volume, so it says nothing about liquidity or the number of traders.
What remains uncertain
The saved sample includes all three markets for this provider event, and the sample is not partial for this event [1]. However, the sample warning states that this does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome [1]. The saved data does not explain why the prices are at these levels, and it contains no lineup, team news, or other match information.
The evidence does not show the prices as of today. Anyone reading this should check the provider for current prices, and should check the contract rules for resolution, postponement, and fallback-source terms before relying on the market.

Overview
This market asks which team, if either, will score first in the second half of the scheduled match between SS Lazio and Cagliari Calcio. The match is listed for November 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, and the contract's listed end time is 14:00 UTC on that date [1]. The contract covers only goals scored in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded [1]. The event contains three related yes or no markets. One resolves on whether SS Lazio will be the first to score in the second half. Another resolves on whether Cagliari Calcio will be the first. The third resolves on whether neither team scores first in the second half [1]. Under the rules, the market resolves to "Neither" if no goal is scored in that period, or if the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game [1]. If the game is postponed, the market stays open until the game has been completed [1]. The rules name an official resolution source first. That is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. If those final statistics are not published within 2 hours after the event ends, data from Flashscore may be used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore may be used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead [1]. Final official results are used for settlement, and revisions to final scores made after resolution are not counted [1]. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market resolves 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable [1].
Why It Matters
The contract measures a narrow outcome within one match: the team that first scores after halftime, or no team at all. Because the second-half window and the resolution fallbacks are specified in the rules [1], a reader needs those definitions to understand what would settle each market. The contract does not measure the full match result, total goals, or any goal scored before the second half begins [1].
Snapshot context
