About This Event
This market will resolve to “Yes” if the Investing.com high price (“H”) for any USD/BRL hourly candle for an hour between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET is equal to or above the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Data for a given candle will be considered finalized once the next candle appears on the specified graph. The last trading day of a given week will be considered finalized once the market closes on that day, typically at 5 PM ET on Friday. This market will resolve as soon as any finalized USD/BRL hourly candle high price is equal to or above the listed price, or once the final hourly candle in the specified period is finalized. A candle starting at 11:00 PM ET on a given date will be considered to be on that date. This market’s resolution will be based solely on information from the “H” figure located at the top of the USD/BRL Streaming Chart on Investing.com for the specified currency pair (https://www.investing.com/currencies/usd-brl-chart).
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
This Polymarket event asks whether USD/BRL will reach a listed level during 2026. Each market resolves "Yes" if the Investing.com high price ("H") for any USD/BRL hourly candle between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET is equal to or above the listed price [1]. Resolution uses only the "H" figure on the Investing.com streaming chart, and a candle is finalized once the next candle appears [1]. Markets labeled "(High)" test upper thresholds and markets labeled "(Low)" test lower ones, so a "Yes" on a high level and a "Yes" on a low level describe different events [1].
The listed end time is 2027-01-01T04:59:00.000Z, which corresponds to the 11:59 PM ET cutoff in the rules [1]. This is the listed close time, not a resolution. The markets were marked active when observed, so none had resolved at that point [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-19T00:00:05.826Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-19T01:54:07.465Z [1]. These are snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and they may not reflect current conditions.
All 12 saved markets for this event are included, so the sample is not partial [1]. The Yes prices for high levels were 0.595 at 5.75, 0.585 at 5.5, 0.44 at 6.25, 0.415 at 6, 0.415 at 6.5, 0.0885 at 7, 0.055 at 6.75, and 0.052 at 7.25 [1]. For low levels, Yes prices were 0.535 at 4.5, 0.48 at 4.25, 0.455 at 4, and 0.029 at 3.75 [1].
Read these figures only within this one event. Each threshold is a separate contract with its own trigger, so the differences between them reflect their different levels and rules. The sample also does not establish that the provider lists every possible level [1].
What remains uncertain
Only one provider event is supplied, so these prices cannot be compared with other platforms or with other contracts. A price difference between two contracts does not by itself indicate an arbitrage opportunity.
The evidence does not explain why prices sit at these levels. It also contains no information on trading activity, depth, or the number of participants, so liquidity cannot be judged. Because only a single snapshot is available, the evidence cannot show how prices have changed over time or which direction they are moving. The outcome of every market remains open until resolution under the stated rules [1].

Saved Oct 19, 2026 UTCOverview
This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Will USD/BRL hit __ in 2026?" The event is a set of threshold contracts on the U.S. dollar to Brazilian real exchange rate, grouped under the finance category. Each contract asks whether the USD/BRL price will reach a specific level during a defined window. The supplied rules say a contract resolves "Yes" if the Investing.com high price, labeled "H", for any USD/BRL hourly candle is equal to or above the listed price during the window from market creation through December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise it resolves "No" [1]. The rules tie resolution to one data point. Only the "H" figure shown at the top of the USD/BRL streaming chart on Investing.com counts, so the contract measures an intraday high on that chart rather than a closing rate or an average [1]. The rules also say a candle's data is treated as final once the next candle appears on the chart. A contract can resolve as soon as any finalized hourly high meets the threshold, or once the last hourly candle in the period is finalized [1]. A candle that starts at 11:00 PM ET is counted toward the calendar date on which it begins [1]. The listed end time for the event is 2027-01-01T04:59:00Z [1]. That timestamp comes from the contract rules. It marks the close of the contract period and is not an announced event date or a forecast of when any price move will occur.
Why It Matters
The contracts measure whether USD/BRL reaches a stated level on the Investing.com hourly high during the 2026 window [1]. Because each contract covers a different threshold, the set gives a ladder of outcomes. Thresholds above the current level ask whether the pair will rise to them, and thresholds below ask whether it will fall to them. The rules define "hit" by the hourly high, so a brief spike that appears in a finalized candle can satisfy a contract even if the pair later moves back [1]. In the saved snapshot, the event had 12 markets, all of which were included in the sample. The Yes prices ranged from 0.029 for the 3.75 low threshold to 0.595 for the 5.75 high threshold [1]. Among the high-side thresholds, the 5.5, 5.75, 6.0, 6.25 and 6.5 contracts had Yes prices between about 0.415 and 0.595, while the 6.75, 7.0 and 7.25 contracts were priced at about 0.05 to 0.09. On the low side, the 4.5, 4.25 and 4.0 contracts had Yes prices from about 0.455 to 0.535, and the 3.75 contract was priced at 0.029 [1]. These figures are snapshots from the saved observation time. They are not executable quotes, and they should not be read as verified probabilities of the outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a Yes outcome require?
A Yes outcome requires the Investing.com high price for at least one USD/BRL hourly candle, within the contract window, to be equal to or above the listed threshold [1].
Which price is used to decide the contract?
The rules say resolution is based solely on the "H" figure at the top of the USD/BRL streaming chart on Investing.com, not on other data sources or a closing price [1].
When does a contract settle?
A contract resolves as soon as a finalized hourly candle high meets the threshold, or once the final hourly candle in the period is finalized. The listed end time is 2027-01-01T04:59:00Z [1].
Does a contract price show the chance of the outcome?
The saved prices are snapshots from the market at the observed time. They are not executable quotes or verified probabilities, so the price alone does not establish how likely a threshold is to be reached [1].
