About This Event
This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Los Angeles Rams win the season series, this market will resolve to “Rams”. If the Seattle Seahawks win the season series, this market will resolve to “Seahawks”. If the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The Polymarket event asks how the 2026-27 NFL regular-season season series between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks will end. Under the stated rules, a Rams win resolves the Rams contract to "Rams," a Seahawks win resolves to "Seahawks," and a tie resolves to "tie" [1]. The three markets in this snapshot each ask about one of those outcomes, so they are separate contracts on the same underlying result.
The rules also cover disrupted seasons. If a scheduled game is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise has no official result, the series is decided only by completed games. If the series cannot be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the season is cancelled, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00Z, which matches that ET deadline in UTC [1]. This is a deadline written in the contract rules, not an announced event date.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-16T03:00:06Z, and the record was retrieved at 2026-10-16T05:12:21Z [1]. These are the prices at those times only. They are not live quotes, and they are not verified probabilities.
The saved quotes were:
- Rams season series win (Yes): 0.41
- Tie (Yes): 0.345
- Seahawks season series win (Yes): 0.27
Among these three Yes prices, the Rams contract has the highest quoted price [1]. The three Yes prices sum to 1.025 rather than 1, so the snapshot does not present a single set of exhaustive probabilities. Because the three outcomes come from one event on one platform, the comparison is within a single provider event. No cross-platform comparison is made here.
The sample includes all three saved markets for this event, and the record marks it as not partial [1]. The record also states that this does not establish that the provider lists every possible real-world outcome [1]. Volume is not reported in the evidence, so nothing here speaks to liquidity or how many traders hold each position.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why these prices were quoted at these times, and this explanation does not attempt to account for them. It also contains no information about recent team news, schedules beyond the contract wording, or how past prices on similar contracts performed. The season has not been completed in the evidence, so the snapshot cannot indicate the eventual result. Readers should check the current listing on the platform before drawing any conclusion.

Overview
This PredictPedia entry covers a Polymarket event titled "Pro Football: Rams vs. Seahawks Season Series Winner" [1]. The event contains three binary contracts about the season series between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks during the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. One contract asks whether the Rams will win the series, one asks whether the Seahawks will win it, and one asks whether the series will end in a tie [1]. The contract rules say that the market resolves to "Rams" if the Rams win the season series, to "Seahawks" if the Seahawks win it, and to "tie" if the two teams tie [1]. The rules also address disruption to the schedule. If a scheduled game between the two teams is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise produces no official result, including because of a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season, the series is determined only by official results of completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the series result cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. January 26, 2027 is a resolution rule threshold in the contract text, not a scheduled event date. The listed end time for these contracts is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. The primary resolution source is information from the NFL, and a consensus of credible reporting will also be used if needed [1]. The Rams are a professional American football team based in the Greater Los Angeles area and compete in the National Football League as a member of the National Football Conference West division [2]. The team plays home games at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which it shares with the Los Angeles Chargers [2].
Why It Matters
The contracts measure how the 2026-27 NFL regular season series between the Rams and Seahawks will end, with three possible results: a Rams series win, a Seahawks series win, or a tie [1]. The rules tie resolution to official results of completed games and to NFL information with credible reporting as a fallback [1]. The 50-50 provision means that if the series cannot be determined by the stated deadline, the contracts settle at an equal split rather than at a single winning outcome [1]. The recorded prices for the three contracts were Rams 0.41 Yes, tie 0.345 Yes, and Seahawks 0.27 Yes at the provider observation time of 2026-10-16T03:00:06.094Z [1]. These figures are prices from that snapshot only and do not describe the current state of the market.
