About This Event
This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Arizona Cardinals win the season series, this market will resolve to “Cardinals”. If the Seattle Seahawks win the season series, this market will resolve to “Seahawks”. If the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The rules state that the market "will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks during the 2026-27 NFL regular season" [1]. The Seahawks contract resolves to "Seahawks" if Seattle wins the series, and the tie contract resolves to "tie" if the teams tie [1]. If a scheduled game is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise produces no official result, the series is decided only by completed games. If the result cannot be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-12T23:59:00.000Z, which falls before that confirmation deadline [1]. The rules name the NFL as the primary resolution source, with a consensus of credible reporting also used [1]. The January 26, 2027 date is a rule deadline, not an announced event date.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observation time is 2026-10-17T06:00:06.025Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-17T06:42:47.116Z [1]. These values describe that saved snapshot only. They are not executable quotes or verified probabilities.
At observation, the Seahawks contract showed Yes at 0.635 and No at 0.365 [1]. The tie contract showed Yes at 0.396 and No at 0.604 [1]. Within each contract, the saved Yes and No prices sum to 1.00. The two contracts are separate questions with different resolution wording, so their prices should not be combined into a single distribution.
The sample contains two markets from one Polymarket event. The coverage record lists two total markets, two included, and partialSample set to false [1]. The evidence does not show a saved Cardinals-winner contract. Its absence from the sample says nothing about its price, so it should not be read as lower or higher.
The supplied fields do not include volume, so no liquidity or trader count can be inferred.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why prices sit where they do, and it contains no recent reporting on the teams or the season. It also does not show how similar contracts have performed against outcomes. The season-series result depends on games that have not been resolved in the supplied material. The provider data was observed at 06:00 UTC on October 17, 2026, so later prices may differ.

Overview
This PredictPedia contract is a sports market on the season series between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. The contract asks which result the season series will produce. If the Cardinals win the season series, the market resolves to Cardinals. If the Seahawks win it, the market resolves to Seahawks. If the two teams tie the series, it resolves to tie [1]. The rules also cover disrupted seasons. If any scheduled game between the two teams is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result, including because of a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season, the season series is determined solely from official results of completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the series result cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The primary resolution source is information from the NFL, and a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The provider lists an end time of January 12, 2027, 23:59 UTC. That listed end time is a provider field and should not be read as the date the series will be decided. The separate 50-50 deadline in the rules is a condition for when the result cannot be confirmed, not an announced event date [1]. The saved event includes two yes or no markets. One asks whether the Seahawks win the season series. The other asks whether the series ends in a tie [1]. The saved sample includes every market the provider saved for this event, but that does not establish that the provider lists every possible outcome. The Cardinals win outcome is not one of the two saved markets, so this sample does not allow a direct comparison of that outcome with the others. Prices in these markets are snapshots that reflect what was observed at the time, not executable quotes or verified probabilities.
Historical Context
The Seattle Seahawks are described in their Wikipedia entry as the only NFL team in the Pacific Northwest, and the team is named for the osprey, a bird also referred to as the sea hawk [2]. The supplied sources do not provide a history of the head-to-head series between the Cardinals and Seahawks, so no past results between the teams are described here.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single season-level result rather than a single game. It asks whether one team will win more games than the other in the 2026-27 season series, or whether the two teams will split the series evenly [1]. Because the rules specify how cancelled or incomplete games are handled, the contract also depends on how official results are recorded during the season [1]. Readers should check the full rules on the provider page for any detail not summarized here [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-17 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
