About This Event
This market will resolve to the player who scores the most goals through all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season (excluding friendlies and exhibitions). Only goals scored in Liga MX matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market. Goals scored during the Apertura, Clausura and Liguilla will all count toward this market's resolution. If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

What the contract measures
The Polymarket event "Liga MX: 2026-27 Top Goalscorer" resolves to the player who scores the most goals across all phases of the 2026-27 season [1]. Only Liga MX matches count. Goals in Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, and international matches are excluded, while Apertura, Clausura, and Liguilla goals all count [1]. Ties are broken first by fewer penalty goals, then by higher xG, then alphabetically by last name [1]. If the season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-06-28T03:59:00.000Z [1]. Each player market is a separate Yes/No contract, so the rules for one player's contract should not be treated as identical to another's without checking the wording.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-18T06:00:06.106Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-18T07:52:58.039Z [1]. These are snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities, and they do not describe current conditions after the observation time.
In the saved sample, the highest Yes price belongs to Juan Brunetta (Tigres UANL) at 0.1625, followed by Juninho (UNAM Pumas) at 0.105 and Paulinho (Toluca) at 0.093 [1]. The lowest included Yes price is 0.0155 for Uroš Đurđević (CF Monterrey) [1].
The sample includes 12 of 16 markets for this event [1]. The four omitted markets are not shown, so this list is not the full field. Do not combine these prices with rankings from other events or providers. Because each contract is priced separately, a difference in price between two contracts is not, by itself, an arbitrage opportunity.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not show why prices are at these levels, how many traders hold these positions, or how liquid each contract is. Volume is not liquidity, and no volume figures appear in the supplied record. The snapshot also cannot show later prices, and the season has not resolved according to the supplied evidence. The rules name official Liga MX statistics as the primary resolution source, with a consensus of credible reporting possibly used [1].

Saved Oct 18, 2026 UTCOverview
This is a Polymarket event titled "Liga MX: 2026-27 Top Goalscorer". It concerns which player scores the most goals across all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season, excluding friendlies and exhibitions [1]. The event is listed as active, with a listed end time of 2027-06-28T03:59:00Z [1]. That date is the contract's listed closing time, not an announced date for any match or announcement. The counting rules are specific. Only goals scored in Liga MX matches count. Goals in other competitions, such as Campeon de Campeones, the CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, and international matches, are excluded [1]. Goals from the Apertura, the Clausura, and the Liguilla all count toward resolution [1]. If players tie for the most goals, the contract uses a sequence of tiebreakers. The first is the tied player with fewer penalty-kick goals across all phases. If a tie remains, the player with the higher xG across all phases is favored. If it still persists, the player whose last name comes first alphabetically is chosen [1]. The contract also covers an incomplete season. If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The primary resolution source is official statistics from Liga MX, and a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. Each named player in the event has a separate Yes or No market. The saved event lists 16 markets in total, and this sample includes 12 of them. Because the sample is partial, the included markets should not be read as the full field of possible top scorers. Prices shown for these markets are snapshots from the observation time, not executable quotes, and a price is not a verified probability of any outcome.
Why It Matters
The contract measures a single outcome: which player finishes the 2026-27 Liga MX season with the most goals under the event's rules [1]. Because only Liga MX matches count across the Apertura, Clausura, and Liguilla, the result depends on a narrow definition of goals, not on all goals a player scores in any competition [1]. The tiebreakers and the cancellation rule determine how the market resolves in close or unfinished cases [1]. Traders following the event need to read those rules closely, since the resolution logic is more detailed than the market titles alone suggest [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-18 at 06:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
