If, for any sequence of 3 or more consecutive calendar months from January 2026 through December 2026, the U.S. Producer Price Index for Final Demand 12-month percent change is greater than the U.S. Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), U.S. city average, all items, 12-month percent change in each month of that sequence, then the market resolves to Yes. For each calendar month in 2026, the comparison will use the headline year-over-year values published by BLS for (i) CPI-U, U.S. city average, all items, 12-month percent change, not seasonally adjusted, and (ii) PPI for Final Demand, 12-month percent change, not seasonally adjusted. A qualifying streak must consist entirely of calendar months in 2026. This market will close and expire early if a qualifying sequence of 3 consecutive calendar months in 2026 is established.
