Lose the Final

For settlement purposes, a country is considered part of a continent based on the FIFA World Cup qualification pathway it competes through, rather than strict geographic borders.

For the purposes of this Contract, if a team withdraws, forfeits, or is disqualified during the 2026 Men's FIFA World Cup, their furthest stage will be considered based on the last stage they successfully completed. For example, if a team withdraws after winning their Round of 32 match, their furthest stage will be considered the Round of 16. Note: If a team loses in the Semifinals, their furthest stage will be considered the Semifinals, regardless of whether they win the third-place match.
