What the contract measures

The Polymarket contract asks whether Faker wins an international title in 2026 [1]. According to the saved rules, it resolves "Yes" if Faker wins an international title by December 31, 2026 11:59 PM ET, and the applicable tournaments are MSI 2026 and Worlds 2026 [1]. If no title is determined by that time, the market resolves "No" [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from the LoL Esports website, and a consensus of credible reporting, such as Liquipedia, may also be used [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-01T04:59:00.000Z, which matches the December 31, 2026 11:59 PM ET deadline in UTC [1]. This is the contract's closing time, not an announced event date.

Reading the snapshot

The market was observed at 2026-10-17T06:00:06Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-17T06:42:52Z [1]. In that observation, the Yes outcome was priced at 0.18 and the No outcome at 0.82 [1]. These are recorded prices from one point in time. They are not executable quotes, and they are not verified probabilities. The sample includes one market from one provider event, and the saved data shows that all markets for that event were included [1]. That does not establish that the provider lists every possible real-world outcome, so this comparison covers only this contract. No other platform appears in the evidence, so no cross-platform comparison is possible. The saved status is active [1].

What remains uncertain

The evidence does not explain why the prices are where they are, and it does not show prices after the observation time. It also omits volume, trader counts, and any recent reporting about Faker or the tournaments. The source excerpt names the tournaments but does not describe their schedules, so this analysis does not establish whether either event has concluded. A reader comparing this contract with a differently worded market should check the tournament list, the resolution source, and the listed close time, because differences in those terms can change what a price means.
