About This Event
This market will resolve to the team that finishes the regular season 2026-27 Liga MX Apertura and Clausura competitions with the best cumulative goal differential. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the team that scored the most total goals across the Apertura and Clausura competitions. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the team that is listed first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed matches. If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is cancelled, postponed after June 27, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from Liga MX; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The contracts in this snapshot ask whether a specific team will finish the 2026-27 Liga MX season with the best combined goal differential. The rules say the market "will resolve to the team that finishes the regular season 2026-27 Liga MX Apertura and Clausura competitions with the best cumulative goal differential" [1]. Ties go first to the team that "scored the most total goals across the Apertura and Clausura competitions," then to the team "listed first alphabetically" [1].
The rules also cover disruption. If the season "is shortened, truncated, or ends early," the outcome uses "available official data for completed matches," and if the season is cancelled or there is no official leader declared by the stated cutoff, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The listed end time is 2027-06-28T03:59:00.000Z, and the rules give the postponement cutoff as "June 27, 2027, 11:59 PM ET" [1]. Traders comparing this event with another platform's contract should check that the wording, tie-breakers, and close times match before comparing prices.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-16T03:00:06Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-16T03:27:08Z [1]. These are historical snapshots, not current quotes, and they are not executable prices. The highest listed Yes prices were Club América at 0.315, Toluca at 0.265, and Guadalajara (Chivas) at 0.185 [1]. The remaining listed Yes prices ranged from 0.029 to 0.0545 [1].
This is a partial sample. The saved event contains 19 markets, and 12 are shown [1]. The selection ranks markets by Yes price, so the seven omitted contracts are not in the evidence and their prices cannot be inferred. The 12 shown should not be treated as the full field, and their prices should not be summed or read as a complete probability distribution.
The source does not report trading volume, liquidity, or the number of traders for these markets, so the snapshot cannot show how deep the market is.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why prices are where they are, and it contains no news about the teams or the season. It also does not show whether the season will run to its listed end. Because the season has not finished, the resolution outcome is unknown. The contract's rules, not the snapshot, determine how it would settle.

Overview
This PredictPedia contract is a Polymarket event titled "Liga MX: 2026-27 Largest Goal Differential." It will resolve to the team that finishes the 2026-27 regular season across both the Apertura and Clausura competitions with the best cumulative goal differential [1]. The rules name a tiebreaker: if teams are level on goal differential, the team that scored the most total goals across the two competitions wins. If that is still tied, the team listed first alphabetically resolves the market [1]. The rules also cover disruption. If the 2026-27 season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome is to be determined from official data for completed matches [1]. If the season is cancelled, postponed after June 27, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, or otherwise produces no official leader within that timeframe, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The stated resolution source is official information from Liga MX, although a consensus of credible reporting may also be used [1]. The listed end time is 2027-06-28 at 03:59 UTC [1]. That date is a contract rule for when the market closes, not an announcement that the season or any match will take place on a particular date. The market is listed as active by its provider [1]. The price data attached to this article is a single snapshot from the provider event, observed at 2026-10-16 03:00 UTC, so it reflects that moment only. Individual markets in the event ask whether a specific club will finish with the best combined goal differential. The sample includes Club América, Toluca, Guadalajara (Chivas), UNAM Pumas, León, Cruz Azul, Necaxa, Querétaro, Atlante FC, Tigres UANL, Tijuana, and Atlético San Luis [1]. Each market is a yes or no contract on one club, and the included markets are ordered by their Yes price within this event.
Why It Matters
The contract measures which Liga MX club finishes the 2026-27 regular season, across the Apertura and Clausura competitions, with the best cumulative goal differential [1]. Goal differential summarizes the margin between goals scored and goals conceded over the season, so the contract tracks overall season performance rather than a single match or a title race defined by points alone [1]. Because the rules add tiebreakers based on total goals and then alphabetical order, the outcome is defined even when two clubs finish level on goal differential [1]. The contract also specifies what happens if the season is shortened or cancelled, which determines how a result is reached when the full schedule is not played [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
