About This Event
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". Only official regular-season games count. Conference championship games, bowl games, and College Football Playoff games do not count even if the NCAA recognizes them as such. Only played games resulting in a win will count toward this total. If the listed team plays fewer games than scheduled due to cancellation, weather, forfeit, or any other reason, only actual wins recorded count toward the total; canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins. If the 2026 NCAA Division 1 Football regular season is cancelled, postponed after December 26, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many wins the listed team recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official NCAA and conference records (https://www.ncaa.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
The Polymarket event "NCAA Football: Ohio State 2026 Win Total" contains four binary contracts. Each asks whether Ohio State will have more than a listed number of regular season wins: 7.5, 8.5, 9.5, or 10.5 [1]. The rules state that a market "will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number" [1]. Only official regular season games count. Conference championship, bowl, and College Football Playoff games do not count [1]. Canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins [1].
The rules also contain a cancellation condition. If the 2026 regular season is cancelled, or postponed after December 26, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if the win count cannot be determined within that timeframe, the market resolves "No" [1]. This date is a rule threshold, not an announced schedule event. The listed end time is December 27, 2026, at 04:59 UTC for all four contracts [1]. Official NCAA and conference records are the primary resolution source, although "a consensus of credible reporting may also be used" [1].
Reading the snapshot
The saved prices were observed on October 16, 2026, at 03:00 UTC and retrieved at 05:05 UTC the same day [1]. They are a historical snapshot, not a live quote. In that snapshot, the Yes prices were 0.925 for more than 7.5 wins, 0.895 for more than 8.5, 0.67 for more than 9.5, and 0.355 for more than 10.5 [1]. Each Yes and No pair sums to 1.0 in the saved data [1].
Within this event, Yes prices fall as the required win total rises. That pattern matches the contract wording, since a higher threshold requires more wins. Compare contracts only within the same event and wording. The prices are not executable quotes and are not verified probabilities. The saved data does not include volume or trader counts, so it says nothing about liquidity or how many participants hold each view.
What remains uncertain
The sample includes all four saved markets for this event, and the coverage record reports no partial sample [1]. That does not establish that the provider lists every possible outcome for Ohio State's win total. The ranking applies only within this saved event.
The evidence does not show prices after the October 16, 2026 observation, so it cannot confirm current conditions. It also contains no news, injury reports, schedule changes, or explanations for the price levels. If comparing with contracts on other platforms, check thresholds, cancellation terms, and close times first, since differing rules may mean the contracts do not describe the same outcome. A price difference alone does not indicate an arbitrage opportunity.
