About This Event
This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Denver Broncos win the season series, this market will resolve to “Broncos”. If the Kansas City Chiefs win the season series, this market will resolve to “Chiefs”. If the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

What the contract measures
The saved Polymarket event asks how the 2026-27 NFL regular-season series between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs will end. Under the event rules, the season series resolves to "Broncos" if Denver wins it, to "Chiefs" if Kansas City wins it, and to "tie" if the two teams tie [1].
The rules also set out what happens when games do not finish. If a scheduled game is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise produces no official result, the series is decided only by completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games are completed, or the series cannot be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The listed end time is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. That listed time is a provider field and differs from the rule's ET deadline, so readers should check how each is used. The primary resolution source is the NFL, with a consensus of credible reporting also used [1].
Reading the snapshot
The provider observation time is 2026-10-16T03:00:06.094Z, and the source was retrieved at 2026-10-16T05:46:04.565Z [1]. These prices describe that observation, not live trading conditions at the time you read this.
The saved sample contains two separate contracts. The first asks whether the Chiefs will win the season series, with a Yes price of 0.62 and a No price of 0.38 [1]. The second asks whether the series will end in a tie, with a Yes price of 0.45 and a No price of 0.55 [1]. These are different questions, so their prices should not be combined or compared as if they were one distribution. The two Yes prices also do not sum to a single probability, and the gap between them does not by itself indicate an opportunity.
The saved sample does not include a separate Broncos-win contract, so no Broncos price appears here. The absence of a price in this sample does not mean that outcome is less likely. Volume is not included in the evidence, so nothing can be said about liquidity or the number of traders.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why prices are where they are, and this summary does not infer any cause. Prices are snapshots, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The coverage data reports two of two markets included and no partial sample, but the source notes that the sample does not establish that providers list every possible real-world outcome [1]. Whether the season will be completed, shortened, or cancelled is not established by the evidence.

Overview
This market concerns the season series between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs during the 2026-27 NFL regular season [1]. The contract is one of two markets in a saved Polymarket event titled "Pro Football: Broncos vs. Chiefs Season Series Winner" [1]. Under its stated rules, the market resolves to "Broncos" if the Broncos win the season series, to "Chiefs" if the Chiefs win it, and to "tie" if the two teams tie [1]. The rules also address disrupted seasons. If any scheduled game between the two teams is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise produces no official result, including because of a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season, the series is decided solely by official results of completed games [1]. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the series result cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The provider's listed end time for the event is 2027-01-27T04:59:00.000Z [1]. That is a listed field in the provider data, not an announced date for any game or event. The primary resolution source is information from the NFL, and a consensus of credible reporting is also used [1]. The saved provider status for the event is active [1]. The saved sample shows two contracts. One asks whether the Chiefs will win the season series, with a Yes price of 0.62 and a No price of 0.38 [1]. The other asks whether the series will end in a tie, with a Yes price of 0.45 and a No price of 0.55 [1]. These are snapshots taken at the provider observation time, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. The two contracts are separate questions, so their prices should not be read as parts of one complete distribution. The sample does not include a separate Broncos-win contract, so no price for a Broncos series win can be drawn from it.
Why It Matters
The contract measures the outcome of the season series between two NFL teams in the 2026-27 regular season, which is decided by official results of completed games between them [1]. It is a single-season question, so it resolves on the series outcome rather than on a broader ranking or championship result [1]. The rivalry itself is described in general terms as an NFL rivalry between the two teams [2]. The contract rules, not the rivalry description, determine how the market resolves [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-16 at 03:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
