About This Event
This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Kansas City Chiefs win the season series, this market will resolve to “Chiefs”. If the Los Angeles Chargers win the season series, this market will resolve to “Chargers”. If the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
This analysis is awaiting a background update, so its prices may be older than the odds above.

What the contract measures
This event covers the 2026-27 NFL regular season series between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers. The rules say the market "will resolve according to the result of the season series," with a Chiefs win resolving to "Chiefs," a Chargers win to "Chargers," and a split to "tie" [1]. The contracts are not identical in wording. One asks whether the series "end in a tie," while the other two ask whether each team will "win the season series" [1].
The rules also set a fallback. If a scheduled game is cancelled, not completed, or produces no official result, the series is decided by completed games only. If the series cannot be confirmed by "January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET," the market resolves 50-50 [1]. The listed end time for all three contracts is 2027-01-27T04:59:00Z, which matches that deadline in UTC [1]. This is a contract rule and listed close time, not an announced game schedule or confirmed event date.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-18T06:00:06Z, and this review retrieved them at 2026-10-18T07:53:23Z [1]. They describe that saved snapshot only. They are not live quotes and may not be executable.
The saved Yes prices were 0.47 for a tie, 0.41 for a Chiefs series win, and 0.105 for a Chargers series win [1]. On the snapshot, the Chiefs contract priced higher than the Chargers contract, and the tie contract priced highest of the three. These are quoted prices, not verified probabilities. The saved volume data is not included here, so it cannot be used to judge liquidity or how many traders took part.
All three contracts come from one Polymarket event, and the sample is complete for that event: 3 of 3 markets were included and the sample is not marked partial [1]. The provider's warning still applies. It states that including all saved markets "does not establish that the providers list every possible real-world outcome" [1]. Because the 50-50 fallback exists, the three listed outcomes should not be read as a complete description of every possible resolution.
What remains uncertain
The evidence does not explain why prices are where they are, and it contains no recent reporting on the teams or the season. It also does not show how the prices have changed over time. The Yes prices do not sum to 1 across the three contracts, but that alone does not establish a trading opportunity, since these are unexecuted snapshots from one moment. Any comparison with prices on other platforms would need matching wording, rules, and close times before it could be meaningful.
