About This Event
This market will resolve according to the company which owns the model with the highest Mathematics score on LiveBench.ai when the leaderboard is checked on October 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET. Results from the “Mathematics” column of the leaderboard at https://livebench.ai/#/?cats=Mathematics, with the latest available LiveBench release selected and the category set to “Mathematics,” will be used to resolve this market. Models will be ranked according to the specified score, with higher scores ranked ahead of lower scores. If two or more models have exactly the same score as displayed on the leaderboard, the model with the lower listed "cost per successful task" will be ranked ahead. If a tie still remains, alphabetical order of company names as listed in this market group will be used as a final tiebreaker (e.g., if the two models are tied by exact score and cost per successful task, “Google” would be ranked ahead of “SpaceXAI”). This market will resolve based on the company that occupies first place under this ranking. The resolution source for this market is the LiveBench leaderboard. If this resolution source is unavailable at check time, this market will remain open until the leaderboard comes back online and will resolve based on the first check after it becomes available. If it becomes permanently unavailable, this market will resolve to “Other.”

What the contract measures
This market asks which company owns the model with the highest Mathematics score on the LiveBench leaderboard when the board is checked on October 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET [1]. Scores come from the "Mathematics" column with the latest available LiveBench release selected [1]. If two models have the same displayed score, the model with the lower listed "cost per successful task" ranks ahead, and alphabetical order of company names is the final tiebreaker [1]. If the leaderboard is temporarily unavailable, the market stays open until it returns. If it becomes permanently unavailable, the market resolves to "Other" [1].
The provider lists the end time as 2026-10-31T16:00:00.000Z [1]. One included market, for Alibaba, lists a different end time of 2026-11-01T03:59:00.000Z [1]. The source does not explain this difference, so readers should check each contract's listed close time before comparing them.
Reading the snapshot
The provider observed these prices at 2026-10-24T12:00:05.917Z, and this record was retrieved at 2026-10-24T13:14:24.872Z [1]. These are snapshots, not live or executable quotes, and they are not verified probabilities. The Yes prices for the included Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google markets were 0.89, 0.0495, and 0.0255 [1]. Other included Yes prices ranged from 0.0015 to 0.006 [1].
The sample is partial. The provider event contains 21 markets, and 12 are included [1]. The sample ranks markets by Yes price, so the omitted markets were not selected by a published rule that shows their prices, and the source does not give their values. Do not read the omitted outcomes as lower-priced. Volume is also absent from this sample, so it cannot be used to judge liquidity or how many traders hold a position.
What remains uncertain
The snapshot does not show why prices are where they are, and it does not reveal current leaderboard standings beyond what the evidence states. The "Other" outcome's price is not in the supplied markets. Because the sample comes from a single provider event, no comparison should be made to other platforms or events. A difference between two prices is not an arbitrage opportunity, since each contract has its own rules and close time.

Overview
This PredictPedia contract is a Polymarket event titled "Which company has the best AI model on LiveBench (Mathematics) end of October?" [1]. The rules say it will resolve according to "the company which owns the model with the highest Mathematics score on LiveBench.ai when the leaderboard is checked on October 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET" [1]. The listed end time for the event is 2026-10-31T16:00:00.000Z [1]. Resolution relies on the Mathematics column of the LiveBench leaderboard, with the latest available LiveBench release selected and the category set to Mathematics [1]. Models are ranked by their displayed score. If two or more models have exactly the same score, the model with the lower listed cost per successful task ranks ahead. If a tie remains, alphabetical order of company names in the market group is the final tiebreaker [1]. The winning contract is the company that occupies first place under this ranking [1]. The rules also cover a missing data source. If the LiveBench leaderboard is unavailable at check time, the market stays open until the leaderboard returns and resolves on the first check after it becomes available. If the source becomes permanently unavailable, the market resolves to "Other" [1]. The provider status is listed as active [1]. The market data in this record is a partial sample. The saved provider event contains 21 markets, and 12 are included here [1]. The included markets were selected by finite Yes price in descending order, using the first reported outcome for nonbinary contracts, and then by volume. Missing or invalid prices rank last [1]. Each included market asks whether one named company will hold first place, so each contract is a separate Yes or No question. Within this sample, the Anthropic contract has the highest Yes snapshot, followed by the OpenAI and Google contracts [1]. The sample does not show the full field, so no conclusion can be drawn about companies that are not included. One included market lists a different end date, 2026-11-01T03:59:00.000Z, than the others [1], so the listed end times should be read market by market. The prices are snapshots of the provider data, not executable quotes or verified probabilities. They were observed at 2026-10-24T12:00:05.917Z [1]. They describe that moment only and are not live values. Because the contract closes after the leaderboard check, the outcome will depend on the scores shown at that check, not on any price shown here.
Why It Matters
The contract measures which company owns the model with the highest Mathematics score on the LiveBench leaderboard at the time of the scheduled check [1]. It turns a leaderboard position into a tradable question about a single company. Because the rules rank models by score and then by cost per successful task and company name, the contract is sensitive to the exact leaderboard figures at the check time rather than to general reputation [1]. Traders and readers can use the rules to see exactly how the winner will be determined, including what happens if the leaderboard is unavailable [1]. Price snapshots from the provider show how the included contracts were priced at one observed moment, but they are not an official forecast of the leaderboard result [1].
Snapshot context
The latest published provider snapshot for this topic was observed on 2026-10-24 at 12:00 UTC. It contains listings from Polymarket. Market descriptions and listed closing times define the contracts; they do not establish that the real-world outcome has occurred. This article does not include a separately verified news update. [1]
Frequently Asked Questions
What determines the winning company in this contract?
The winner is the company that owns the model with the highest Mathematics score on LiveBench.ai when the leaderboard is checked on October 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET [1]. Results come from the Mathematics column with the latest available LiveBench release selected [1].
How are ties handled?
If models have exactly the same displayed score, the one with the lower listed cost per successful task ranks ahead. If a tie still remains, alphabetical order of company names in the market group is used [1].
What happens if the LiveBench leaderboard is unavailable?
The market remains open until the leaderboard returns and resolves based on the first check after it becomes available. If the source becomes permanently unavailable, the market resolves to "Other" [1].
Do the prices shown here indicate the likely winner?
The prices are snapshots from a partial sample observed at 2026-10-24T12:00:05.917Z [1]. They are not executable quotes or verified probabilities, so they should not be read as a forecast of the leaderboard result [1].
Why is the sample described as partial?
The saved provider event contains 21 markets, and only 12 are included in this record [1]. The included markets were selected by price and volume, so the sample does not represent the full field and cannot show how omitted companies were priced [1].
